there be more TCW books after those

Probably not. Those five fulfill the contract.

Quick question though, in the blog post there's the two Gambit books for The Clone Wars (which makes me smile, as Gambit is one of my favourite X-Men), but will there be more TCW books after those? Your timeline goes to the end of 2011, but there's no TCW post-May 2010. I know that TCW is a different contract than the rest, but have more books been contracted?

Thank you !

However --- there are LOTS of folks responsible for the Star Wars publishing program: the authors and folks both here and at Del Rey, so don't single me out..... for the praise or the blame!

We understand that, but even among those who talk to us here and on TFN, you answer our questions the most and the best. The only one who comes even CLOSE is Jason Fry out on TFN, who's been talking with people about the Atlas for a while. But you answer all of our questions and give us news quicker than anyone, more often than anyone, and in more detail than anyone. While there are others responsible for the publishing program, you're the one that stands out.

So yes. We single you out for praise. As for blame, that we're willing to spread around as needed :D

*Oh, it may be that we wanted Joe's second book to come out in October (Halloween) since it's a horror novel. *

Thanks Sue.

Wow, another horror story! Of course, silly me, it would be if Joe is writing it, d'oh :D
Death Troopers must be reeeaaaally good for you to give Joe another book to write ;)

Sue you are a legend

As a fan that has read nearly all the Star Wars books that I can, it is always great to learn that there are so much new material on the way.

*You'll still be getting Zekk's story -- it'll just come out in different ways.
*

Can you tell us when Zekk is making his comeback? Or is it going to be a surprise comeback?

*Sue, thank you for posting the new novels release schedule. Just a quick question: any particular reason why Alex Irvine's Nomi Sunrider novel has been put back by 5 months? It was down for October 2010 on your old lists here and here, but is now penned for a February 2011 release - it appears that Joe Schreiber's second SW novel has taken Alex's original slot. *

Things move around for a variety of different reasons. I can't, at the moment, recall the particular reason this was moved. It may have been a result of the general shuffle that happened -- Oh, it may be that we wanted Joe's second book to come out in October (Halloween) since it's a horror novel.

*So is Blood Oath still considered to be canon then? We just won't know the details of it, naturally. *

No, Blood Oath is not canon.

*There's really no point to because what was going to happen in it didn't really happen. Not like any of this really happens... but you know what I mean. You'll still be getting Zekk's story -- it'll just come out in different ways. *

I figured you might say something like this. I suppose the important thing is that we still get Zekk's story.

*I blogged.

http://blogs.starwars.com/ee usuestornii/13*

Ms. Rostoni - Sue (may I call you Sue?) - do we here at forums.starwars.com tell you often enough how incredibly awesome you are?

'cause, like, you are. Between the blogging, and the editing, and the answering of our questions in a remarkably timely manner (seriously, we have no right to expect you to be this quick with taking our questions), it's all very awesome. Keep it up.

And if you feel we're not telling you how awesome you are enough, let us know. We'll handle it.

The Sean Williams could easily be any of the assigned titles she couldn't talk about.

But considering he's already finished his first draft, I'm betting it's either the July or September books. ;)

Any comments on the Sean Williams novel? The one, that featured a walk-on role auctioned to raise funds for the wildfire around Melbourne?
