Glad to see some familiar faces are still around! Still remember our part in creating the, at the time a good idea, Ask Karen Traviss Thread. That didn't end up so good. :P
Solo out
Well Fan Reactions grew out of it.
It's so nice to have you back posting Sue! Thanks for all the updates!

it's a bit disappointing that it seems that soon paperback reprints will come well over a year after their hardcover editions are printed, especially with the list price of all hardcovers, no matter the size, being almost $30 each.

So Jedi Dawn won't be coming out till 2013 now? The last book in that series came out in Jan 2009 and now this book isn't coming out until 2013? That's four years later. That's a long time to wait. Wasn't that the reason that IC 2 was ultimately cancelled? The wait between books was going to be too long. Don't mistake my post. I know that IC2 isn't coming back and this isn't a push for it. I just can't believe that we have to wait four years for the next book in a mediocre at best series.
Look at it this way: Perhaps having a four year gap will help make sure that the next CN book doesn't end up completely fouling up the dates of the prequels and thereby undermining its own ending again . . .

Sue, do you happen to have any info about the Scholastic Star Wars books? Like when we might ever get to see more of Adventures in Hyperspace? Thanks!

Regarding Knight Errant and Borders, I was told there were supply problems which are being addressed. Troy, Joe Schreiber and I have been blogging for them all week and I'm signing at a Borders in Madison tomorrow (2 p.m., the University Avenue store) so I imagine it's on their radar screen!

Hey Sue,
Just wanted to thank you for taking the time to keep us slightly obsessive Star Wars fans informed of what we have to look forward too.

I assume "TOR 3" reprint is the Old Republic novel by Drew Karpyshyn? If so, that implies the further assumption that the initial release will be hardcover...
Yes, that's my understanding.

Sorry Sue, just revising a release schedule and wanting to make sure I put down something accurate.

Okay -- here are the reprint dates for 2012 -- keep in mind that these are the easiest to move...
Many, many thanks, Sue.

RED HARVEST reprint - February 28, 2012
VORTEX reprint - March 27, 2012
Another question please Sue, if Vortex's mmpb release is moved to March 2012, does this mean that Conviction's mmpb release is moved out of March 2012 to a later date as, according to my information, Conviction mmpb is/was scheduled to be released on March 27 2012 as well?

I honestly don't know. It's not my project, and I doubt that the new front matter/copyright information is in yet.
Thank you, Sue.

s there a reason the Nomi Sunrider novel keeps getting pushed back?
Only because the schedule often needs shuffling -- no inside reasoning....
Also, is the first of the duology one of the duo by Paul S. Kemp?
Yes -- again, I didn't have time to check to see if it had already been announced.
Also, any chance you could say when the Wraith Squadron novel, Jeff Grubb novel, or Paul Kemp's duology is set? Any chance any of them are after Fate of the Jedi?
I don't know the exact setting yet, but I believe they're all before the Fate of the Jedi series. We don't have anything planned right now (as of this minute) that will be set after the end of the FotJ series.

will the anniversary edition of Heir to the Empire be released in paperback, or is the hardback the only way to get the new material?
Hardcover only.
