it's not availablle to the public, so your telling us this why???

Always alert you are Tramp, I had forgotten that little tidbit. We've taken for granted that the Council has been the Jedi's guiding light. I think a Jedi Order with less guidence would be a cool frontier to explore more.

As evidenced in th TotJ comics, and in the TotJ: Companion, there was no formal Jedi Council until Nomi proposed one. Before that time, whatever Jedi Masters that were available often came together in convocations to idscuss major issues such as war and the like. They met at Ossus.

The Star Tours Death Star is listed in the Holocron's Continuity Notes, therefore it's not conclusive whether or not it is part of continuity.
Ah. I've always wondered about that. Tales from the Mos Eisley Cantina did make a small nod to Disney -- the Wolfman mentions that there was a droid on the comm. channels screaming that he'd always wanted to do this. Of course, Star Tours was intended to take place over the first Death Star, while the Wolfman's tale is set around Endor.
Oh, well. All in good fun.

Once again, thanks for keeping track of all this continuity material (and my most embarrassed apologies on behalf of anyone who has attacked you over these issues -- it's simply not okay and it makes the rest of us anal-retentive continuity cranks look bad. Most of us are nice anal-retentive cranks and appreciate your painstaking efforts.  :^O).
Second, there's been some debate over the date of the founding of the Jedi Council: many sources date its inception concurrent to that of the Republic, but in Tales of the Jedi: Redemption, Nomi Sunrider appears to be its originator. On closer inspection, however, what Sunrider actually proposes is "a new council". Can we take this statement to mean that the Council already existed during Tales of the Jedi, but that Nomi Sunrider was merely suggesting reforms? |

Thanks so much for your hard work with canon, retroactive continuity, and the rest. Someone has to keep the mythos sewn together! As a lover of firm continuity, I appreciate your efforts immensely.
I realize that everyone went ballistic over the minor inconsistencies between Labyrinth of Evil and Clone Wars Volume II, but I don't think the two are totally incompatible (a lot can be explained away with the explicit denial principle: just because Clone Wars shows two Jedi in Palpatine's bunker doesn't mean there weren't four, because it never explicitly denies the existence of two other Jedi -- maybe it was a trick of the camera angles...;) Similarly, although Clone Wars doesn't actually depict Mace fighting Grievous on the mag-train, neither does it unequivocally deny the possibility that the duel happened between scenes). According to the Holocron, how do the two sources fit together?

I was wondering if the Mobquet Zephyr-G is a Speeder Bike or a Swoop Bike? There are several official sources that mention it being a Speeder Bike and other sources that say its a Swoop Bike.

Hi, I have a question on the obscure species, the Columi. According to Galaxy Guide 4: Alien Races, were they were first established, they achieved spaceflight about 2,000,000 BBY, and also gives much of their history. However the New Essential Chronology says they developed spaceflight in 100,000 BBY, nearly 2,000,000 years later then the date set down in Galaxy Guide. Which is the cannon date and if it's NEC what does that mean for the other established dates on the Columi?

Sorry if this has been asked before. I didn't read 60 pages of questions.
Supposedly, the Star Wars trilogy takes place a "long time ago". My question is, is there any indication in the Holocron as to how long ago it was, in reference to today's date? If so, what would "The Galaxy" be up to right now? Speaking of which, is the galaxy in which Star Wars takes place given an official name anywhere? What is it? Thanks for considering my questions.
