Sue. I was wondering If you could tell us more about Drew Karpshytn and his exploits.
Yeah, I'm kinda curious about that as well. All I know about him is that he was one of the writers of the Knights of the Old Republic game.

We're staying with the plan. We'd need a MS around October 2006 -- we'll assign this one soon and all should work out fine.
Does this affect the Drew Karpyshyn Old Republic novel at all, or is that one still on schedule for October 06?

*Sue, in "The Cestus Deception", the ARC trooper
Nate/Jangotat and Sheeka fall in love or whatever and
she becomes pregnant, is there going to be anything
that shows what becomes of this kid?*
Not yet. It's one of those open-ended things that another author can pick up as needed.

Sue,
You said in your blog that Elizabeth Hand had backed out of the Old Republic novel she was going to write - my question is, will the now-unassigned hardcover still be coming out October 2007, or is the date up in the air now too?
Thanks.

Ok, thanks.
I just heard somewhere that it might be available at Comic-Con too, but that doesn't really help me.

As far as I know, the Vader issue is available only on the IDG site.

Can someone tell me if the Official Vader Guide thingy from IDG will be available anywhere other than their website?
Well, I'm not purple, but I do not believe so (not counting eBay and the other online bidding sites). Just as the RotS official magazine, this is probably an online-order edition only (unless our British neighbours decide to reprint in in their Star Wars magazine, as they did with the only-available-online version of the RotS official magazine).
But I would order it online if I were you (and I already did... of course...)

be included in the Omnibus, not that its standalone

Yes, this is the correct interpretation!

*Sue,
I saw your blog.
Is Dark Lord still set for November or did
that get swapped back with +Outbound Flight+?*
DARK LORD is still slated for a November 22 release.

Sue,
I saw your blog.

that get swapped back with +Outbound Flight+?
I took the Dark Lord reference to mean that it might be included in the Omnibus, not that its standalone publication would have a later release date:
http://blogs.starwars.com/eeus uestornii/1
The anticipated paperback omnibus (LABYRINTH OF EVIL and REVENGE OF THE SITH) with CD-ROM of the visual script due to come out this November has been put on hold -- the Fall schedule looked a bit too full. We'll revisit this maybe in the next year or so, and possibly publish an omnibus trilogy (to include DARK LORD: THE RISE OF DARTH VADER)
At least I hope that's what it means...

+so I thought the ORIGINAL inhabitants of Harun Kal wouldnt be called human but i stand corrected +
The inhabitants of Haruun Kal didn't originate there. They're the descendants of marooned Jedi from the Great Sith War.

has lucasfilm considered in the future maybe having two cartoons running at the same time.
I have no I idea whether or not such a thing has been considered by +some+one. All I know is that one animated series is in the works. The live-action series could come as early as a year after the animated series starts so it's possible that those could be airing at the same time. Having two cartoons running at the same time is not without precedent, since Droids and Ewoks both aired at the same time to form an "Adventure Hour."
Tasty, do you have a complete list of all Jedi who are known to have died in the Prequel era and how that you could share with us?
Answers can be found in this thread: Casualties of the Jedi Order

He's a human from Haruun Kal.
Korun isn't a species - they're just force-sensitive humans from a particular world.
Which, surprise surprise, is exactly what is in the databank.
And in the Haruun Kalentry:
+ The indigents are the Korunnai. It is uncertain how these *humans *came to call the jungles of Haruun Kal home. +
