Can someone tell me if the Official Vader Guide thingy from IDG will be available anywhere other than their website?
Well, I'm not purple, but I do not believe so (not counting eBay and the other online bidding sites). Just as the RotS official magazine, this is probably an online-order edition only (unless our British neighbours decide to reprint in in their Star Wars magazine, as they did with the only-available-online version of the RotS official magazine).
But I would order it online if I were you (and I already did... of course...)

*I took the Dark Lord reference to mean that it might
be included in the Omnibus, not that its standalone
publication would have a later release date*
Yes, this is the correct interpretation!

*Sue,
I saw your blog.
Is Dark Lord still set for November or did
that get swapped back with +Outbound Flight+?*
DARK LORD is still slated for a November 22 release.

Sue,

I took the Dark Lord reference to mean that it might be included in the Omnibus, not that its standalone publication would have a later release date:
http://blogs.starwars.com/eeus uestornii/1
The anticipated paperback omnibus (LABYRINTH OF EVIL and REVENGE OF THE SITH) with CD-ROM of the visual script due to come out this November has been put on hold -- the Fall schedule looked a bit too full. We'll revisit this maybe in the next year or so, and possibly publish an omnibus trilogy (to include DARK LORD: THE RISE OF DARTH VADER)
At least I hope that's what it means...

+so I thought the ORIGINAL inhabitants of Harun Kal wouldnt be called human but i stand corrected +
The inhabitants of Haruun Kal didn't originate there. They're the descendants of marooned Jedi from the Great Sith War.

has lucasfilm considered in the future maybe having two cartoons running at the same time.
I have no I idea whether or not such a thing has been considered by +some+one. All I know is that one animated series is in the works. The live-action series could come as early as a year after the animated series starts so it's possible that those could be airing at the same time. Having two cartoons running at the same time is not without precedent, since Droids and Ewoks both aired at the same time to form an "Adventure Hour."
Tasty, do you have a complete list of all Jedi who are known to have died in the Prequel era and how that you could share with us?
Answers can be found in this thread: Casualties of the Jedi Order

He's a human from Haruun Kal.
Korun isn't a species - they're just force-sensitive humans from a particular world.
Which, surprise surprise, is exactly what is in the databank.
And in the Haruun Kalentry:
+ The indigents are the Korunnai. It is uncertain how these *humans *came to call the jungles of Haruun Kal home. +

Tasty, This question will be somewhat off from the topics that have been asked here, but has lucasfilm considered in the future maybe having two cartoons running at the same time. We know that the first one is 30 minutes each give or take for network commercials and in the clone wars era. Is a second one being considered in a different era? Would that have to depend if the clone wars one is succesful? Or, no thought has really been put into it yet?

Christopher West's "Secrets of the Falcon" is in Dungeon #103/Polyhedron #162.
Thanks for correcting my mistake. The Dungeon/Polyhedron thing always gets me confused, and I'm out of the office so I wasn't able to confirm this issue # with the real thing.
*You raise an interesting point: there are New Republic era Star Wars articles in pre-Dungeon issues of Polyhedron that I've rarely seen discussed.
Yep, there are several and I consider them to be canon for they have been written in the WEG-era by WEG writers (mostly).*
I don't believe these are in the Licensing library. I do remember talking about these to someone around here a while back and was given the impression that they weren't official.
A follow-up to my earlier question about Senators: Mas Amedda has been described both as the Speaker of the Senate and as the Vice Chair. Are these the same office, or what?
Yes, as Vice Chair he also serves as Speaker of the Senate.

And thanks for pointing out the article: it is indeed in Polyhedron 162! ( think it is interesting enough for reprinting online with all these YT-1300 differentiations (wow, is that even an English word?)
