I wouldn't think old assualt crafts are still used much in the galaxy, especially by the GFFA. I don't remeber the full description because I was too distracted by the characters' thoughts and reactions, mainly Ben's:).

I found it much less...idealized and, well, lame than the way either of them would add "My love" onto things in those books.

I figured they picked up some of the banter from the Solo's, to be honest, who do use those precise words, and sometimes our adolescent nicknames have a way of sticking with us.

Farmboy was Luke's. I have friend's who still call me by the nicknames I had in HS and college. I don't find it odd at all, grandmaster of a Jedi order of not, especially considering who the nicknames come from.

Surnames, and yes, he adopted him. But the way Mandos play around with names, that doesn't tell you much. They don't always take parental names. They're quite anarchic about naming, as befits a we-don't-care-where-you-come-from-just-fit-in-okay mentality.

Kreia is the mirror image of Vergere, only when she speaks though. Vergere didn't want to destroy the Force, she wanted to stop the Yuuzhan Vong, and Jacen was the way to do that, but I think Vergere grew closer to him than she planned.
