I wouldn't think old assualt crafts are still used
much in the galaxy, especially by the GFFA. I don't
remeber the full description because I was too
distracted by the characters' thoughts and reactions,
mainly Ben's:).

Same.

*Wow, now that's interesting! Readers over at TFN
already wondered where the father/son couple was, and
there they go! Thanks for your answer, that's cool
news! Oh, and does it happen they have a common
surname? Or are those their surnames, and Vevut
adopted Orade?*

Surnames, and yes, he adopted him. But the way
Mandos play around with names, that doesn't tell you
much. They don't always take parental names. They're
quite anarchic about naming, as befits a
we-don't-care-where-you-come-from-just-fit-in-okay
mentality.

Cool. Another little intel about the Mando way! :D And I guess Dinua Jeban didn't take the name Beviin, either - also, when keeping the name, the person honors his parents, imho. What was that Mando proverb again? Something like "you live as long as your name is remembered"? I don't have it in mind, excactly, and where it was written... was it in APM?

I remember the description being of something more
sleek than a Larty.

I figured they picked up some of the banter from the Solo's, to be honest,

"He's the brains, sweetheart!"

That interesting, and good to know. Karen, a quick question. In Bloodlines, The CSF use Assult Ships. Now, In Bounty Hunter the Game, they use the same thing, so, is that what they look like?

Trust me, we worked hard on the titles. ;)

Titles matter, not just at the reader end, but for
the writer too. I navigate by my titles. I'm not
sure if other writers do that because I've never
asked, but a title has to sum up my theme or I get
lost along the way.

BTW, James, was the experiment you were thinking of the one conducted in the faux "jail" in the basement of Yale (I think) - the one they had to shut down early?

I need to say that when Mirta fired first (:^O)
killing Thracken, I thought, "Okay, so she really
liked Fett's daughter." I wasn't too surprised when
Mirta revealed her secret, but I'm glad it happens
because Fett's Legacy will continue in his bloodline
(see the tie in with the names of the series and
book, which I'm sure the authors aimed for :D)

"Like several have said, I found the honey/sweetheart thing very disconcerting "

More or less than the "My love" thing from the NJO books?

I found it much less...idealized and, well, lame than the way either of them would add "My love" onto things in those books.

I figured they picked up some of the banter from the Solo's, to be honest, who do use those precise words, and sometimes our adolescent nicknames have a way of sticking with us.

Farmboy was Luke's. I have friend's who still call me by the nicknames I had in HS and college. I don't find it odd at all, grandmaster of a Jedi order of not, especially considering who the nicknames come from.

I got you; a lie to themselves :). I'm not sure
about that with Kreia, but I'm all for it with
Vergere. I'd have to replay KOTOR II to refreash my
mind about Kreia, but in the end, Kreia wasn't going
to change her ways.

That's it. See, I must have been amking half sense
;) . I will re-play KotorII because I have a feeling I'm going to want to another character like Vergere..It's easier to picture and put into light. But your right, Kreia wasn't changing her plans for beans. And as you said, Vergere may have with Jacen.

Just wondering...

Are the two images of the blond Mando reparing his
helmet and the dread-locked Mando training his son

in
Insider 86 templates for Orade and Vevut?

The guy with the dreads with his son doing blaster
training are Vevut and Orade. When we did the
feature and Tom showed me the finished art, they
fitted perfectly so we decided it was them. The guy
servicing the helmet: no, that's not Orade.

Kreia is the mirror image of Vergere, only when she
speaks though. Vergere didn't want to destroy the
Force, she wanted to stop the Yuuzhan Vong, and Jacen
was the way to do that, but I think Vergere grew
closer to him than she planned.

Indeed. Kreia knew what she wanted, she wanted it so bad, more matter how much she liked The Exile... She wouldn't stop her pllan like Vergere.

What do you mean by "They wanted what was best for
thier Padawans....Nothing At all...A lie," Son Of
Skywalker 15?

Very true, but there are times she would slip up (I
think :^O) because she really did like Jacen; she
killed herself for him.

She is a mirror image of Kreia. A Jedi Master/Sith Lord of the old, who hated the force...and wanted silence. Now, that it what makes them the same. It's the disrespect for the Jedi's they taught...They wanted what was best for thier Padawans....Nothing At all...A lie.
