Can Leland Chee or somebody confirm whether this Twitter account is canonical?

Sue, when you guys planned out the plot for the Jedi going 'crazy'/ having delusions in FOTJ, were you aware of something called Capgrass Delusion?

The Capgras delusion (or Capgras syndrome) is a disorder in which a person holds a delusion that a friend, spouse, parent or other close family member has been replaced by an identical-looking impostor. The Capgras delusion is classed as a delusional misidentification syndrome, etc.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wi ki/Capgras_delusion

Did someone bring this up at the meeting(s), or was this pure coincidence?

Is that still going to happen?

Eddie, wasn't it "Smuggler's Vanguard", as published in March 2010? Here's the SW.com link.

Oh yeah, and it appears that the controversial Secrets of the Jedi (DK) has been renamed Mysteries of the Jedi... (amazon)

Sue, do you know when the back cover of VORTEX will be released, along with the summary that goes on the inside jacket of the book? Also, received any manuscripts lately?!

Thanks in advance :)

Yep.

Gotta love those little plant people in Shinbone Showdown. ;)

Another question for Sue (or anyone who can point to a source to confirm their response):

Is there any indication of when Star Wars Adventures: The Will of Darth Vader takes place in relation to The Empire Strikes Back?

I ask because it is set "approximately three years" ABY. Even though the actual in-universe date puts ESB at three years and three months after ANH, it is almost always rounded to just "three years" ABY.

That would mean that the story, logically, would seem to take place just before ESB, but its ties to the second Death Star suggest that perhaps Tom Taylor was going for just after ESB instead.

I took notice of the post moves and I thank you for the information. It does make sense to keep this thread as on topic as possible, and I apologize if I was a bit off topic.

Also, to add on the reply to thread issue, I am a member of some other forums and honestly am used to such a button existing on every post in a specific thread, along with quote and reply to post buttons, so I can say that it might be very helpful to at least make the option available on both the top and bottom of a page. Anyway, that's my opinion... I really don't think it's such a major issue.

Anyway, since we seem to be getting off topic again... I wanted to ask Sue a question if an answer is available: Are the Scholastic books "Adventures in Hyperspace" part of canon?

Thank you,

Marv

For what it's worth, Henning probably really shouldn't have been answering for my question. I know you like to be involved dude... but it didn't really help me any... sorry, man.

I must say, that in six+ years of membership, its the first time I've been attacked for trying to be helpful. Interesting. I'll make a note of who's questions to ignore in future. Moving along....

The reply to thread button is really in an inconvenient place. Its set up for the 'ascending' post order layout, but I doubt that many peopel have it set up that way because you have to read, essentially from back to front, which makes little sense (to me anyway). I'm not really sure what the reasoning was behind not having it at the bottom of the page.

I think the issue is somewhat part of the layout of the forum. If you actually read down to the bottom of the thread and decide to comment, there's no "reply to thread" button, just buttons to reply to specific posts.

There is a "reply to thread" button at the TOP, but once you've read the entire thread, you're more likely to hit the most obvious reply button, which isn't that one.

Unless you switch the ascending/descending posts setting. In which case, the "reply to thread" is always by the latest post. :p

It doesn't help that both icons on the right of each post both say reply to THREAD when hovering over them. The one with the talk bubble should be the reply to THIS POST, and the other should be to the THREAD in general.

So it works great if people are choosing logical posts to respond to but if people hap-hazardously choosing which posts to respond to then it can be a mess.

I'm very guilty of haphazardness in replying.... mainly because by the time I'm here, there's many to read through so I "reply" to a convenient post rather than the actual post I should be replying to. It's due to my "Han Solo-ness." I'll strive to do better.

Bro? Cool off...

For what it's worth, Henning probably really shouldn't have been answering for my question. I know you like to be involved dude... but it didn't really help me any... sorry, man.

As for whatever this clutter business is... even with the attitude, I think there may have been a grain of a valid point in there. 200 posts in one week is a lot for some entire message boards let alone one thread, and it does tend to make it harder if you need to bring up old posts.

So maybe the mods or somebody could create a thread collecting/duplicating VIP answers in condensed form so guys like him don't have a reason to complain, and so guys like you don't have to listen to guys like him. Might also help out with the frequently asked question. Does that sound reasonable to everybody?

And now that I've addressed all the crud that overshadowed my question... can I please get an answer for it?

Ugh. Every time I see something designed around what the user is supposed to do, I die a little inside.

Might want to see about getting them to add a generic 'Reply' button at the bottom of the thread rather than just at the top, else the most obvious thing to do is just hit 'Reply' to the last post.
