Just to get this clear, guys, we all know Wild Space isn't just that one arm, right? Also, Unknown Regions can be anywhere that is unexplored, such as beyond Toola and Calamari. Can we get Dan Wallace to chime in on this?
You rang? (Dang, where's a Lurch icon when I need it?)
100% correct about Wild Space. Confusion often arises when people look at the NJO maps and see the label "Wild Space" on the rim-edge, but in truth we'd intended all the areas marked by little star-icons to represent Wild Space. It isn't a region per se, just a term to describe a "frontier" area that's semi-explored but not exactly settled. Unknown Regions are the areas that haven't even been explored, and while there is a region called "The Unknown Regions," there could also be pockets of space in the explored galaxy that (due to nebulas, hyperspace snarls, etc.) technically are also Unknown. (The planet Ganath from Dark Empire II might fall into this category.)

Just to get this clear, guys, we all know Wild Space isn't just that one arm, right? It is anywhere that is being "pioneered", so to speak. The area between the Koornacht Cluster and the Unknown Regions, for example. Remember, Adumar is described as being in Wild Space. Also, Unknown Regions can be anywhere that is unexplored, such as beyond Toola and Calamari. Can we get Dan Wallace to chime in on this?

Confusion. Do you mean a publication called A New Hope, Behind the Story? If so, what is it and who is the publisher? If not, what do you mean by "behind the story?"

Where is Exodeen, the planet Jorj Car'das is hidden on and the planet R'yet Coome is from?
Exocron is in the Kathol Outback, which I believe is on the rimward side of the Kathol Sector, on the edge of Wild Space.

Where is Cona?
Cona is located three parsecs away from Tatooine, according to A New Hope, behind the story.

It is closer to the Imperial center than Zaddja in the Trilon sector. Perhaps Trilon, Inc. maybe based in this sector.
But where was the Imperial center at that time? Was it in what would become the remnant, or could it have been somewhere else? Just a thought, I'm not sure if that helps or changes anything.

Where in the galaxy is Pestiin
I would think it would be near the border between the Remnant and the New Republic.

There isn't any information to my knowledge that indicates the region Cona lies in. You could guess it's around Tatooine, maybe in the Mid Rim near Naboo or Bothan Space, as there were several Arcona on Tatooine. Then again, Arcona are pretty spread across the galaxy, like Duros and humans. For all we know, Cona and its primary Teke Ro could be near Agamar.

Almost finished rereading the Hand of Thrawn books looking for references, and I haven't found anything concrete on that planet.

Rogue Squadron has routine patrols of the area at the time of Jedi Outcast (12 ABY).
A location near the Remnant would provide a reason for Rogue Squadron to patrol the region.

I have a question. Where in the galaxy is Pestiin, where Admiral Pellaeon and Leia Organa Solo negotiated the truce between the Regiment and New Republic.

1) I have a suggestion for a future book. How about a Star Wars Galaxy atlas? I know Star Trek has one, and it is pretty cool.
2) Do the folks at LucasFilm have a list of all officially mentioned Sectors from the books and roleplaying game products?

I'm curious what Phaeda's location is needed for????
Just in case we ever decide to place it on future versions of the galaxy map.

If you were to place Phaeda (a backwater planet mentioned in the Crimson Empire series) on a galaxy map, where would it be?
Unfortunately I don't have much other info in my notes than the "half a galaxy away from Yinchorr". However, the location of Yinchorr is known. It was on the Insider galaxy map and is just across the Hydian Way from Arkania.
If I had to guess Phaeda's location, I would place it somewhere near or in the Imperial Remnant. If it was located out near Helska or Bastion, that would make it around 1/4 of the galaxy away from Yinchorr.
I'm curious what Phaeda's location is needed for????
