Sanae: The next one's aiming for March 1, then there'll be one on June 1 if all goes well.
So one more pre-ROTS with all the pre-ROTS stuff up till then in it, then one right after ROTS with all the ROTS materials in it.

Looks like I'll be changing the Mara age references in the next SWT-G. Nathan, are you going to release the new timeline anytime soon? I was kind of hoping you would release an updated version after RotS...
Regarding Mara's age and before I found SWT-G, I had been under the impression that she was roughly Luke and Leia's age...
Ah, I've been looking around for the ages of Gavin's kids and I haven't been able to find anything... I think that if I really want to find out, I'll have to check every one of the books... !

+So, that information in the WotC book has been
overwriten now? +
Possibly. There's some other dubious info there -
Jorus C'Boath is described as 38 during TPM with a
big white beard.
Hmmm....?:|
That isn't all that implausible. Some people grey early because of Stress or other factors. Also, He could simple have naturally white hair; look at Winter and Tionne. When I was small, living in Arizona for a year, our next-door neighbors had two boys about the same age as me and my brother. Their hair was so light a blond that it was almost white, so Jorus C'Baoth's hair being white at 38 is not all that unbelievable.

Well, if so, can we have a little restraint on pre-ANH stories about Mara? I find it implausible that a teenager is a l33t assassin.

Actually, wait, I just found where I had noticed the date thing before for Mara:
In the Core Rulebook for the WOTC version of the RPG, she is referenced as being "at age 45" in a profile for her that is dated 25 ASW4. That would put her birthdate back at 20 BSW4, a year older than Luke (or two years, back when we thought Luke was born 18 BSW4, not 19 BSW4).
So, that information in the WotC book has been overwriten now?

Looks like I'll be changing the Mara age references in the next SWT-G.
And, by the way, I talked to Jeremy a bit ago by email about the Grievous timeframe. Yes, it's in Visionaries, but, no, there's no date set yet.
So, for now, I think the official date is a shoulder shrug.

The ages from the Fact Files family tree are
accurate.
That would corrispond with what Star Wars Insider #47 said about Mara's age being two years younger. Thanks Tasty.

The ages from the Fact Files family tree are accurate.
I don't have anything on Gavin's kids, adopted or biological. The earliest birth year for the biological children is 11 ABY. No concrete year has been set for Gavin and Sela's marriage, but it also can be no earlier than 11 ABY.

With Acrobat you click on the binoculars - enter a
name and you usually get the birth year as the first
or second of the entries that it finds.
Apple users may also use 'apple + F'

+Nathan, word has it that we'll actually see Grievous' transformation in the SW Visionaries book. I would guess, as Jeremy Barlow is editing, that we'll get a timeline placement for said event.
+
Hmm...I'll try to ask him about that tonight, and see if he's got a date for it already that can be used. Just trying to get it all on the SWT-G before the next release.
As for the Mara thing . . . That's been tossed around several times. We'd have to check with Leland Chee about the definite age difference. I'm almost certain, though, that she's been said in EU books to be a tad older than Luke and Leia.

You could also use the universal search keyboard shortcut, which virtually every Windows application uses - "Ctrl+F"

They aren't mods for nothing...are they?
In any case, I've checked Anakin's first record and it says he's born on Nespis VII on the year 10 ASW4. I take from there that Jaina and Jacen were definitely born on year 9.
Again thanks for the tip!

A wise padawan always listens to what wise Jedi

I actually had to be told this by Kaelis or JTS back when I first downloaded it myself after I made a similar comment to yours.

Sanae - do you know how to use the search function in it?

And you are most welcome.

Yes, I have all three of the zip files copied on my documents folder...I've been through quite a few pages but, I'm sure you'll agree that it's a gargantuan affair!!
I'll check it a bit more carefully when I'll have time...I'm really curious to find out about other people's birth years...
Thanks for the link!! (edit: first page?? Sanae shakes her head and mutters 'silly Sanae, silly Sanae', then Yoda says: Always check the first page, a wise padawan does...)
