I was wondering, since computer games have a 'last day of consumption' of sorts, is LFL doing something actively to include references to material that you'd like to be reaffirmed in newer EU material?

Oh, in regards to a recent controversy, I only wanted to point out that you've mentioned Dr. Saxton's foresight earlier, and here's yet another example from the ROTS ICS page 3:
The teetering government of the Galactic Republic desperately spends its waning wealth on grand armies...

It was confirmed in Insider #89, in the Underworld article.

Wookieepedia says that Socorro is the homeplanet of Lando. I can't seem to verify this somewhere. If this is correct, then in what book was that confirmed?

Actually, that's why I asked Leland about the whole Dooku birthdate. That's what's going to determine it. I figure on finding out, then filling it in that thread where you first asked.

See I KNEW I wasn't the only one concerned about this :D

Thanks Nathan ;)

Just to throw some fuel on the fire: It shouldn't be possible at all for the Xanatos events (and thus the LOTJ segment with QQ and OW) to take place in 45 BBY. Unless there's an error, it has to be in 44 BBY because they make such a big deal out of Obi-Wan's transition from 12 years old to 13 years old (leading into his birthday in The Hidden Past).

Actually, let me sort of revise my question about Dooku here . . .

We were told that Dooku was born 103 BBY. That would make him 83 in Yoda: Dark Rendezvous, as that book states.

Now, the dates in Legacy of the Jedi work perfectly consistently with that, if the Qui-Gon/Obi-Wan segment of that story takes place in the year 45 BBY. However, it refers to the events of "The Day of Reckoning" in the past tense.

So, I guess a better question would be: Could you please let us know in what years the Jedi Apprentice stories actually take place?

As best as I'd been able to figure, based on when stories are contiguous or not, and based on references to Obi-Wan's ages in the stories, I figured as follows:

45 BBY: The Rising Force and The Dark Rival

44 BBY: The Hidden Past - The Day of Reckoning (with Legacy of the Jedi's Qui-Gon/Obi-Wan segment shortly after TDOR)

43 BBY: The Fight for Truth and The Shattered Peace

42 BBY: The Deadly Hunter, The Evil Experiment, and The Dangerous Rescue

41 BBY: The Qui-Gon/Obi-Wan segment of Deceptions, then The Ties That Bind on through The Only Witness

40 BBY: The Threat Within

39 BBY: Secrets of the Jedi (ch 1 - 20) and The Followers (ch 1 - 12)

Can you set me straight on all these dates? It seems a long, drawn out scenario, but the age references tend to get things thrown off often.

Hi, this is my first post. I've been observing sporadically for the last year or so but never got around to posting, but I have time on my hands and I decided to stop by. I have a couple of questions so I would appreciate it if someone could help me out. First I am not real sure if this is the right place, but I was wondering because I am obsessed with chronology and continuity if there has been a timeline posted anywhere with just the movies and the books. Over time I have created a timeline but I am not certain about the accuracy of all parts of it particually in three areas: Jedi Apprentice, YJK, NJO. Would it be ok if I copy and pasted those sections of it to see if it is right? Thanks a lot in advance.

Any one got a confirmed BBY date on these parts?

To add a tad into my previous question just now, I would also ask if we should assume that most of the dates in A Tangled Web are rounding. I mean, Ferus is said to not have seen Bog for 10 years . . . which is a pretty extreme rounding, since the event he's referring to happened only 6 years earlier or so.

And another:

In A Tangled Web, Ferus remarks that the Empire was declared "a couple of months ago," while Dark Warning seems to suggest about a year since Order 66, and we were once told that The Desperate Mission was about 6 months after ROTS. Now, all of these very different dates for the Last of the Jedi series can't all be correct. When is the series actually supposed to take place in terms of months after ROTS?

I know this has probably been asked a bunch of times but can someone please provide a definitive answer to which is the true Battle of Coruscant, clone wars or Labyrinth of Evil.
I thought it was LOE, based on the Revenge novel referencing it but when i was flipping through the new essential chronology it was recounting the clone wars version.

So which one was in the holocron???

"Is this evidence that the light side playing o####OTOR' is canon?"

I thought it was canon now that Reven was light-side male and Exile was light-side (?) female?

At least there was a bit of a kerfluffle about it over at the TFN boards when I skimmed them last week. I think the New Chronology book set this up.

I have a continuity observation/question.

In the RepCom game and upcoming figue, Sev has a nice big red handprint on his helmet (which, I think, notches up his popularity). So, where did this trademark of awesomenicity (that's mine, I trademarked it... ;) ) disappear to?

Well, I'm re-reading the Han Solo Trilogy b AC Crispin, and lo and behold, I've found it. Bria Tharen's rebel unit is the Red Hand, and their symbol is a "bloody handprint" on their ships. Feared in the Outer Rims as ruthless soldiers.

So, what are the odds of (someday) getting these two images tied together?

Forgive me if this has been covered...

In 'KOTOR' you can only use the Qel-Droma robes if you're playing the light side.
In 'Tales' Duron Qel-Droma says that Revan will use his robes.

Is this evidence that the light side playing of 'KOTOR' is canon?
Or is it simply Duron seeing a possible future?

Here's a question for Leland:

You've said before (ages ago, I think) that Dooku was born 102 BBY.

However, Yoda: Dark Rendezvous puts him at 83 years old (103 BBY birthdate), while Legacy of the Jedi does support the 102 BBY birthdate. Is it possible that rather than 102 BBY, it should just be late in 103 BBY?

I'm just curious what the usual procedure is in these circumstances.
Licensees provide a name for approval or they ask LFL to provide a name. Sometimes things are shown at events such as these prior to submission to LFL for final approval.

Sometimes the Star Wars Galaxies website features player-created characters, ships, and events. Obviously anything player-created is normally non-canon - but usually the website is treated as canon. So what's the deal here? I'm assuming still non-canon.
Non-continuity since they exist only in a single galaxy/server.

You're right of course. I'm wondering, doesn't LFL decide what name they will have? It seems that Hasbro has already named this droid, can't LFL change his name if they would like to? Who gave Hasbro the permission to use that name? I'm just curious what the usual procedure is in these circumstances.
