Hey Tasty. I read on your blog about Jedi Casualties: Battle of Geonosis. And I was wondering about the deleted scene with the raid on the droid controlship. Who where the members of that strike force? The only named ones are Ki-Adi-Mundi and Plo Koon.

To what Canon level (G,T, C, etc.) do the various earlier TV shows belong? I am referring to shows like the Droid and Ewok cartoons, Star Wars Christmas Special, Caravan of Courage, etc.
I am positive Leland has answered this for all the sources you mention, either somewhere in this thread, or in the current or last VIP thread. I am positive he said they were all S. Though I can't be arsed to dig up where he said it. If you really wanna know, do a search.

The Glove of Darth Vader series has been altered, per the New Essential Chronology, to fit into the 5 ABY timeframe. The original series plus the NEC retcons can therefore be regarded as C-Canon, I think.

Seeing how this has spiraled out of control, I think it best to at least cite my claims:
http:/ /forums.starwars.com/thread.jspa?threadID=152583&start=1818
And just so we're clear, Leland does say initially, so there is all possibility that these series have since been tested and found compatible. But as I said, unless specific proof of this exists, they have to be considered S.

That argument is the reason everyone is skeptical. DarthMRN believes Leland Chee verified this (or something of the sort) some ways back... it got a few posters wondering (me included), in the BCaT thread here.
They wanted an official answer from Leland himself, as do I.
Although I do agree, I don't know why YJK/JJK wouldn't be considered C-Canon... and I'm willing to bet that it is.

DarthMRN said:
Because Leland said in the Holocron thread how everything published before Holocron testing (2000-) save adult novels, reference works and ongoing comic series were S-canon. And the Wook identifies JJK and YJK (junior novels) as being published before that time. So unless specific proof exists that exclude these series from this blanket statement, they have to be S.
If necessary I can dig up the quote for you.
Also, since when did what characters appear in a story have anything to do with canon level?

To save you guys time YES they are all C-Canon. They ALL got referenced in multiple scorces. I donīt see why all you guys think these young readers books are considered S-Canon.

And I'm also curious about Galaxy of Fear and Glove of Darth Vader in the similar strain (even though those aren't nearly as popular).

Ditto jayjon's question, and I would add Junior Jedi Knights to it.

Leland, is the Young Jedi Knights series S-Canon or C-Canon?

In the Ewoks episode 'The Cries of the Trees', the village legends established that when Morag first attacked, Logray was the only Ewok brave enough to stand up to her. The later episode, 'Sunstar vs. Shadowstone', features Logray saying, of Morag, 'For two hundred snows you've plagued us!" This, coupled with the Caravan of Courage mention of Logray being 'as old as the trees', seems to indicate he's really, really old. Still, given that the days and years on Endor have odd lengths, and it's not made EXPLICIT that the 'two hundred snows' line refers in any way to Logray's age (though it's a logical assumption, I'd like some confirmation), I was wondering if the Holocron had anything more specific- or at least confirmation that this is meant to be a reference for Logray's age.
Trying to work on his Wookieepedia page (woefully inadequate thing that it is) and all.

What company makes the IW-37 Pincer Loader? The The Clone Wars Campaign Guide says its Industrial Automaton but the NEGTD says it's Cybot Galactica? Why do such controversies still happen? Aren't these books edited or checked for possible mistakes?

Mr. Chee, does the Holocron continuty database offer explanations as to why dark side users die different ways? Palpatine and Joruus C'baoth exploded in blue light of dark side energy, Jerec, Darth Nihilus, and others dissolved in dark side energy, and Dooku and most other Sith Lords just die and that's it. Since the holocron database explains that certain Jedi turn into force ghosts only when they know how to be one with the force, does it also have some explanation for this similar behavior for dark side users?

Mr. Chee, I just stumbled across the image of the dark jedi exodus and their arrival on Korriban shown in TotJ: The Golden Age of the Sith.
My question as KotOR reader is now, if the resemblance between Dathka Graush's helmet from the comic to the helmet as shown in TotJ is only coincidental - and if the person on Korriban is actually Graush.

Hello Mr. Chee!
I have a question regarding Mazzic from the Thrawn trilogy books and comics. In Star Wars Gamer 3 he is described and depicted as a human, but the comic adaption of The Last Command shows him as a Myke. What does the Holocron say about his species - is he human or Myke?
Thanks in advance!
