I can partially answer this one. The prologue of Path of Destruction is in 1,006 BBY, then Chapters 1 - 5 are in 1,003 BBY, Chapters 6 - 12 and part of 13 are in 1,002 BBY, the rest of Chapter 13 and Chapters 14 - 20 are in 1,001 BBY, then the rest of the novel is in 1,000 BBY.

Rule of Two picks up in 1,000 BBY with Chapters 1 - 9 or so, including some flashbacks to during Path of Destruction. You then have flashbacks to 999 BBY, 998 BBY, 996 BBY, Once you hit Chapter 10, the rest is in 990 BBY.

Dynasty of Evil picks up later with its entirety in 980 BBY.

My guess is that there are enough flashbacks within Path of Destruction to have the nearest number they chose to use be 1,020 BBY.

Remember, though, that the timelines in the novels are not broken down by year in a way that would say that anything under a specific number and divider line is in the year with that number. Those numbered barriers on the novel timeline are landmarks, so to speak. They are handy reference landmarks, so that if you look at ROTS, you'll then find a 19 BBY marker, then everything up to right before ANH are all in a section between that marker and the next. That doesn't mean everything in that group is in 19 BBY, just that 19 BBY was the most recent landmark given.

I'm currently trying to expand an article Rorworr of Naboo on Wookieepedia, and I had a few questions.

1) Fact File 91 (TRA 17, 18) mentions the character, "Dane," in all of the image captions. I believe the author has confused Dané and Sia-Lan Wezz. Could you possibly clarify the information in the Fact File?

2) Several sources mention the Naboo Underground (Invasion of Theed Adventure Game, ) and the Naboo Resistance (Secrets of Naboo sourcebook). Both sources mention leadership figures, but none use exclusive terms (like, "The" leader). Is it safe to assume that both are just different names for the same organization, (possibly including Naboo freedom fighter groups mentioned in other sources, such as Galactic Battlegrounds/Battle for Naboo)?

3) Do you have any information or rulings on the Battle of Skorrupon? Specifically, I'm looking for a date (simultaneous with Doom Mission?), but any rulings or holocron-only information would be lovely.

I just got the first tome of Invasion (french edition), and I see some Jedi with Luke, Finn and Le'Ung in the Bulwark en route to Rychel. Notably, a Rodian. Could it be a known Rodian Jedi character ? Jovan Drark, Toile Senn, Kelbis Nu ?

In EU publications is said that Alderaan was a pacifist world with no planetary shield defenses when it was destroyed:

Graveyard of Alderaan: "planetary defenses were discarded as a show of the new philosophy" (p.5)
Dark Empire Source Book: "Alderaan had no shields of any kind, so it was utterly vaporized." (p.125)
Essential Guide to Planets and Moons: "the defenseless planet was obliterated" (p.7)
Ultimate Visual Guide: "The planet had no weapons or military force" (p.75)

Following ANH:

Leia: No! Alderaan is peaceful! We have no weapons, you can't possibly...
Tarkin: You would prefer another target, a military target?

However, in the ANH novel and radio drama, Vader says to Tarkin "The defense systems on Alderaan, despite the Senator's protestations to the contrary, were as strong as any in the Empire."

Who was telling the truth, Leia or Vader? Are correct the EU sources stating that Alderaan had no defense planetary shields?

...to some degree. I think you said something about some missions happening in a different order, though I could be wrong.

It might depend on the version of the game you have. In the PSP version, he's a Jedi Master in Act III, starting with the Bespin mission. Nathan said the DS version is substantially different, so it's unclear what the real timeline is. I'd like to know the time placement as well.
