Sorry I didn't know how to highlight the address. URL button? Not very good at all this but I've found a bunch of killer sites in the last few years. Wookiepedia is another good one. starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page

I still think that Labrynth of Evil is canonical.

Yeah, has anybody resolved the issues between the canonness of the microseries and LOE? It's been a long time and I'd like to know what's been retconned and what's still canon.

^ Also, I noted that in Obsession, Tiin's horn
is fully regrown, so the scene in the Cartoon were
Anakin saves him from some Tri-Fighters and just the
tip is missing has to take place before
Obsession. After all, we know from
Labyrinth of Evil that Anakin switched between
his two fighters during those months. But Anakin
doesn't seem to have to scar then, so it has to be
just before Dreadnaughts, but Tiin's horns are
a long way from fully grown in Rendili.
DARN THAT CHAPTER!!!

^ Yeah I'm a continuity freak too, I wonder if anybody has resolved this. ?:|

Maybe, maybe not. It could be any of the confrontations/duels between Anakin and Dooku.

  • Don't forget Anakin and Dooku's encounter in the Clone Wars video game. Of course, that really doesn't count as a duel, since Anakin was shot in the back before anything could really happen. *

True, but it's still a confrontation.

I guess Matthew Stover doesn't have all knowledge of SW continuity.....

Makes sense. It was a possibility though.

For one point, when Obi-Wan says "We'll take him together this time" he could be referring to the battle he and Anakin fought against Count Dooku at the end of the aforementioned novel.

That was definitely a reference to AOTC. In Labyrinth of Evil, Obi-Wan and Anakin never really confront Dooku on Tythe. The ROTS novelization mentions that their duel in the General's Quarters of the Invisible Hand is the first time Anakin and Dooku confront each other since Geonosis.

Anakin did bare witness to Dooku's murder of Lorian Nod on Null in Legacy of the Jedi and they were both participating in the Battle of Boz Pity in Obsession #5 but on neither occasions did they make eye contact. And of course, the Count Dooku Anakin fights on Metalorn in the GBA game, The New Droid Army, has been retconned as a doppleganger and not the real Count.

I'm pretty sure that was meant as a reference to the duel from AotC.

Second, there is the earlier point made on the mention of Cato Neimoidia in both the film and the novel.

So much information. Hard to process accurately. I must think on this some more.

I hope this is the right mini-forum to post this. My apologies if this has been covered in the past but this is a topic I couldn't get fully answered in the darkhorse forums and a search of this thread didn't come up with much.

The Lost 19. Who were all of them? I know Dooku was #20 and that you have to voluntarily leave the Order not simply be seduced by the dark side and then leave. Do you have a link for me to get that info? Thanx in advance!

I have not read Obsession yet, but I seem to
recall hearing somewhere that Mace Windu partially
crushed the General's breathing apparatus when
Grievous killed Adi Gallia.

Hmm, I've read Obsession but I didn't notice that. And since in that case Labyrinth of Evil can preside as the official continuity, it doesn't matter that Grievous didn't cough in Clone Wars Volume 2. Another possibility is that, as George said in the ROTS audio commentary, he's not a fully functioning cyborg and may have malfunctions every so often.

Well, as the whole continuity thing goes, the story presented in LOE (which is the only ROTS prequel that gets any mention in the EU otherwise) can easily be retconned to include Mace catching up to Grievous's shuttle and choking him. Hopefully, someone like Tasty Taste will pursue doing this in the future. Then, we can just write off the CW cartoon as a total infinity.

I'd assume that LOE is the most official. Some parts of the cartoon can be official (grievous coughing and C-3PO's new coverings) but everything else isn't.

I think Yoda can do what he did: "Size matters not" from ESB. I don't know about Mace, but since he is very powerful then I'll believe it.
