KOTOR to ends with issue 50!?+
Yeah, that's true. I'm totally bummed about it ending. *
Sue, can you tell us what led to this decision?
And also, will there be a series to replace it?

Sue,
In light of the fact that Fate of the Jedi will be released in new, larger hardcovers (a decision that I personally strongly dislike, but I know you have nothing to do with it), I wanted to ask: Which format will the paperbacks of Darth Bane: Dynasty of Evil and Imperial Commando 2 be in? I ask because the earlier books in both series are in the usual mass market paperback, and I'm really hoping that those two will continue to be in that same format, for the sake of bookshelf consistency.
Thanks!

Is there plans with this Era when it's gone? It seemed like we were just starting to really explore this ear.

*As we get nearer to the Live-Action TV series is there any chance that there will be any tie-in novels? *
It's too early to know.

Sue - I think I might have found information on unannounced books, but I want to get some comments from you about it before I decide whether or not to talk about it publicly.
If you're interested and would be so kind, I can be reached at jayblue013 (at) hotmail.com

*Sue, I have a question about Death Troopers- Does it take place in 2 BBY, 0 BBY, or 0 ABY? Or any of these? *
It takes place approximately a year before the Battle of Yavin... but no longer than a year before. Sometime within that year....

Also, is the "Star Wars: Visions" project have anything to do with the Fall 2010 book you can't talk about?
No, "Star Wars: Visions" is a nonfiction project you'll be hearing about.

*To this day I still think they killed the wrong
Skywalker in LOTF: Sacrifice, and the EU would be far
more interesting today without the Luke Skywalker
albatross. YMMV*
Quite honestly, I'm in the opposite direction. I think Luke's the most relevant of the Big Three. Han and Leia on the other hand...
(Note: I'm not calling for them to get the axe. I'd like them to join Lando and Tendra in the old folk's home equivalent and stop being active in the story.)

I don't expect continuity issues to come from this side of things. Lucas, as the creator, changes things to match his vision, but the artists other than he, IMO, will keep to the continuity we've created.

Which is exactly the attitude I intended to convey here. You even said it yourself -- with all of the TCW errors, why should we expect anything less with Legacy?
Because Legacy is subject to Licencing control. TCW is not. So unless TCW acts as an example to follow for money-grubbing VIP's who think the freedom gained from a lack of continuity would yield great profit, I don't see that happening.
Actually, since GL apparently was the one to decree the EU be consistent with his vision and itself, I would argue that the same godlike power that has created the TCW problems will also insure they don't spread to the EU.

Sue-
Do you know when "Star Wars: The Old Republic"'s novel is supposed to come out?
Do you know who its going to be authored by?
Also, is the "Star Wars: Visions" project have anything to do with the Fall 2010 book you can't talk about?
Thanks.

That is a depressingly pessimistic attitude.

Two things -- 1. just because the Legacy comics say Luke is dead doesn't mean the novels will go that exact route.
That is a depressingly pessimistic attitude. TCW cracking continuity open doesn't quite justify a breakdown off all cohesion IMO. Luke is depicted as a Force Ghost, not simply said to be dead. I'm sure there are ways around that, but actually using one seems like an unecessary retcon before someone even decides they want eternal Luke running around.
*He needs to step down. *
Hear hear! Kill him off plz.

2 -- I was more saying that I hope Luke isn't the star of every series up until the time he dies, because he has been ever since TTT (just about). People start to get tired of him coming to save the day every time a bad guy pops up out of nowhere. I know I am. Either he dies sometime soon, or goes into retirement. He needs to step down.
