Is it just me or do I suspect that the upcoming book by Sean Williams could be a post-FOTJ novel and could be set in the Unknown Regions and perhaps feature Luke and Ben Skywalker meeting up with the Chiss perhaps even the Empire of the Hand reunited? Since Williams was interested in doing more UR stories. A new UR/Post-FOTJ novel by Williams makes sense.

A thread like that in the BCaT forum would more than likely be locked.

*Mmmm? Do you mean why is there no thread for that? There is. In the misc forum. *

I'm surprised it wasn't brought up here on these forums, I mean it only comes once a year- it was like a big secret on these boards.....

Does anybody know if Sue is taking a break because I have not seen her on for a while.
Also, if not Sue do you know when we will get information on Crosscurrent? And what years does it take place in?
Thanks!

I'm curious why these boards didn't have anything going for Star Wars Day?

Heck this was the first year I found out about it. May the 4th Be with you.

That's priceless.

Yet no mention of it on theses boards? Again I ask WHY?

Although I hate to get my hopes up with these things, I'd venture to say that the Lost Tribe of the Sith eBook is legitimate -- specifically because they have cover art up. It would make sense, too, if only to coincide with FOTJ and the Sith Tribe's coming role in the series.

*What is this Lost tribe of the Jedi/Sith that you guys are talking about? I must have missed it. Where can you get the e-book? *

Rebelscum first spotted it. (Note: They are generally a reliable source, for a fan site. More reliable than Some Random Dude, anyway.) And it has shown up in the Random House catalog. We're still waiting on an official announcement, and I doubt any VIPs will say anything until then.

When we have a release or release date, I assume one will be able to download it through Random House and maybe Amazon. These things tend to end up printed in paperbacks down the line, too.

Some random guy on a message board is NOT a reliable source. Particularly one who's already admitted to fudging his own 'facts.'

Let's at least try to use our noggins here, okay?

I suspect this SW novel Luceno is in negotiations with could be a post-FOTJ novel.

You don't know for a FACT that there is a Luceno novel in the works.

I hear that since James Luceno has knowledge of what will happen in FOTJ. I suspect this SW novel Luceno is in negotiations with could be a post-FOTJ novel. SAY IT IS SO! SAY IT IS SO! CROSSING FINGERS!!!

I agree- While I enjoy the short stories in my paperbacks. Collections of them in a Tales of... format rocks the best!

I'm going to second that notion. I like the idea of re-printing the ebooks and short stories, but I definitely do not care for the idea of giving "specials" to paperback buyers. It's like a slap in the face to those of us who buy the hardcovers as soon as they hit the shelves. I'd much rather have sensible anthologies and collections of these stories, and yes, plunk down the extra money to buy them separately.

Sue, do you know how many e-books will be in the Lost Tribe of the Sith series? Also, any chance of collecting them all into one collection? I don't buy e-books and since I've already bought Outcast in hardcover I don't want to double dip just for this series.

Sue,
Do you know which novel Lost Tribe of the Jedi: Precipine will be released in?
And also do you know when the paperback Outcast will be released?

Is there any chance that we'll be seeing History Channel's "Star Wars: The Legacy Revealed" on DVD or Blu-Ray at some point? We've seen "Star Wars Tech," but I'm stuck right now choosing between watching my poor VHS recording of "The Legacy Revealed" or the not-quite-finished preview DVD that History Channel sent me to help promote the program. Neither is that wonderful a viewing experience compared to a real-deal DVD/BR release . . .

I could swear that was asked here (or somewhere like here) a long time ago... IIRC, the official answer was "Lucasfilm didn't produce that program, so the decision to put it on dvd is not ours."

Aaron Allston posted a lengthy article about his whole ideal on his live journal yesterday.

http://aaron-allston.live journal.com/1221.html

Interesting read. It seems he came pretty close to dying a couple times, and at one point even had low neurological readings. However, he seems to be doing much much better now, thankfully. Here's wishing him a full and speedy recovery.
