Sue,
Do you know which novel Lost Tribe of the Jedi: Precipine will be released in?
And also do you know when the paperback Outcast will be released?

Is there any chance that we'll be seeing History Channel's "Star Wars: The Legacy Revealed" on DVD or Blu-Ray at some point? We've seen "Star Wars Tech," but I'm stuck right now choosing between watching my poor VHS recording of "The Legacy Revealed" or the not-quite-finished preview DVD that History Channel sent me to help promote the program. Neither is that wonderful a viewing experience compared to a real-deal DVD/BR release . . .
I could swear that was asked here (or somewhere like here) a long time ago... IIRC, the official answer was "Lucasfilm didn't produce that program, so the decision to put it on dvd is not ours."

Aaron Allston posted a lengthy article about his whole ideal on his live journal yesterday.

Interesting read. It seems he came pretty close to dying a couple times, and at one point even had low neurological readings. However, he seems to be doing much much better now, thankfully. Here's wishing him a full and speedy recovery.

Well, I couldn't help but think it over and over when I heard the term on television so often in a fit of political correctness.
Or, perhaps, it's a hyperdrive prototype for the Naboo Starfighter. An H-1 for the N-1, as it were.

Here's a real question, which I don't think I've asked before:

Okay, so, given the hubbub over the "swine flu" and how the White House doesn't want us calling it "swine flu" anymore . . .
How about (as I suggested via my Twitter earlier today) an experimental astromech for Wraith Squadron's "Piggy" with the numbers H1-N1?
(Come on, you know you wish you'd thought of it first, people!)

Sue (or anyone else that might know),
Amazon.co.uk has a listing for Tethan Battle Adventure, and the cover has "Decide Your Destiny," which makes it look like it's part of the same series as The Way of the Jedi. Three questions: 1) Is it part of the same series? 2) Will it be released in the U.S.? 3) If the answer to question 2 is "yes," is it a distinct book from The Lost Legion, which is released in the U.S. shortly thereafter?

If they'd just pick ONE and go with it it would be good...
My vote is for 2 BBY given the story.

It could be right before they work for Grigmin in the Tion Hegemony (during Han Solo and the Lost Legacy), around the same time Lando is meeting Bria aboard the Queen of Empire in "Rebel Dawn."

"The Outer Rim. Two years before the Battle of
Yavin."
A Han Solo story in 2 BBY? Wasn't he fairly busy
then? Is it set immediately after his return from
the Corporate Sector before he hooked back up with
Bria?
I haven't been able to find it, so I couldn't tell you. But I can say that the Crispin novel (which seems to have covered everything except Han's trips to the fresher) allows for it at around 2.5 BBY, when he and Chewie are at the height of their smuggling career, and before he has the incident with Salla.

Personally, I don't want stories that GL has on
purpose left gaps of. I don't want to read Yoda's
story, or Dooku meeting Sidious, or the creation of
the clone army or Plageius for that matter. Lets keep
creating fresh, new stories that build on the one we
already have. Mysetery is important, if we tell
everything, then it would not be interesting
So... no stories where GL left gaps? It seems to me that leaves out the majority of the EU. Frankly, IMHO, if anything deserves to be expanded upon, it's the "unsolved mysteries" of the movies.

Too bad, because there's more room for it at 2 BBY.

Eddie asked about this on the Dark Horse forums here, and Randy replied that the official line is that the story takes place 1 BBY.

(Note: Jeremy Barlow has replied to tell me that his approved script said 2 BBY, which fits the script of the actual story. However, since the added page says 1 BBY, he's betting on 1 BBY being correct and that the 2 BBY reference in the first page was something that was accidentally left unchanged. Still, any official take on this would be appreciated.)
