Oh, don't worry, we're always reading...
Also, Sue, just out of curiosity --- have you ever written anything yourself? Star Wars or otherwise?

Hello Sue,
I dont know if you can answer this, but I was wondering if Anakin Solo will appear in any way shape or form in the upcomming fate of the jedi series. He has always been my favorite character and some of the stars wars magic I used to experience when reading the books died with him. He truely seemed to be the best and strongest hope for the future of the jedi. Any possibility of some type of a return?? If you cant answer this, has it at least ever been discussed in the meetings for this series?
thanks so much for anything you can tell me

Outta curiosity, how much do finger-taper troopers make? I'm looking for a second job.
Not that much, since they rarely have work.

If one is the Vader book,
I think the Vader book is the new contract. I'd look the contracts up, but it's a longish project.....

see, I'm not entirely sure they've even completed their commitment for the old non-fiction contract yet, because Sue mentioned several non-fiction stuff in the works some time before she could even talk about the new contract yet.
That's right -- I think the atlas was part of the old contract. Maybe the military guide too, but I'm not sure... not my area.

- I was wondering if you could tell us if there are any unassigned novels in the new contract and how many there are?*
Yes. A bunch. (no time to count right now)

Sue, with the new TOR video game, its understandable that a novel might be eminent, but is this going to be considered a one time thing?
I can't speak to this until you see something posted on sw.com. The finger-taper troopers are right outside my door and could confiscate my keyboard.

You're right, that was before news of the new contract dropped.
Still don't know.

I'm talking about stuff she said way back in Jan 08, looong before the new contract info embargo was dropped. She said they still had an unspecified Essential Guide and nonfiction book left in the works. And neither of these were the Encyclopedia or the Atlas because they were otherwise specified.
Here's the original comment. http:/ /forums.starwars.com/thread.jspa?threadID=222689&start=6105
If one is the Vader book, and the other is the Military Guide, then we still have all ten nonfiction books in the new contract relatively unaccounted for.

As far as I know (and I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong) the only non-fiction book remaining from the old contract is the Atlas thats due out in July.
Just because she mentioned stuff was in the works, doesn't imply it was on the old contract (IMO). They could technically start to write a bunch of stuff before they had someone to publish it .

Sorry, I rolled novels and other non-fiction books together.
add 10 non-fiction, subtract the Essential guide to the military and the guide to Darth Vader
and you get 24 on the nose.

If I'm not mistaken there are about 24 to go that are unassigned/unknown to fans right now.
much less than that. Out of the 35 books in the contract, 9 are FOTJ, then we have Blood Oath (10), Crosscurrents (11), Darth Bane 3 (12), Death Troopers (13), ImpCom 501st (14) and at least one sequel to it (15), a Boba Fett book (16), a Nomi Sunrider book (17), the Reaves/Bohnoff Holostar book (18), and at least one tie in to TOR (19).
So 35-19=16. Sixteen as yet unrevealed books. lightning crashes A-ha-ha.

Hopefully Leland reads this thread, because he's probably the one who knows the answer to this:
Is there a known sequence of episodes with regards to The Clone Wars TV series? I was just trying to figure out what the chronological order to watch the episodes was, and I didn't know if you kept track of that or not. Are you aware if the correct order is going to be revealed in the box set of DVDs?
