Has the Essential Atlas been pushed back to February 24th, 2009? Amazon is listing that release date.

An thank you "Captain" my Captain, for expediting . :)

My son asked me why I had two copies of Invicible, an I went into an hour long explaination. It was great. I'm also giving my unsigned copy of Invincible away to a community library. Thank you again Troy Denning....you made my day again!!

Sue will we revisit the Chiss or the Unknown Regions in future post-LOTF books or are any plans to bring Tim Zahn back?

Ooooh. I wouldn't mind that at all! I've always enjoyed Zahn's writing!

I hope that series, IF they use Luke, Han, Leia, etc., is written by someone who's read and appreciates the contributions of the great and classic stories from Marvel, the newspaper strips, Scholastic books and other sundry items during this era. Some of the recent material set in this time-frame (+Allegiance+, the +Rebellion +series) have been disappointing, partly due to their feeling disconnected from the events during this period and partly due to their off characterizations.

Scholastic's adventures in the Star wars universe will continue with Rebel Force (although apparently no Jude Watson this time :( )

Hi Sue -
With the conclusion of "Last of the Jedi", is this truly the "Last of the Scholastics"? I'm sure all of you Lucas-people know that despite these series being written for kids, these books have been enjoyed by adults as important continuing adventures in the SW universe. Is there any chance at another Scholastic series in the future or is there something that you have planned to fill this niche? Jude Watson has become an important contributor to the SW galaxy and I hope it continues in some fashion. We will miss you at Comic Con. Thanks.

Whoa, no Star Wars EU panel this year at SDCC? What a huge disappointment. :( I thought it'd be such a fantastic opportunity to discuss the recently finished LotF series and the upcoming MF book.

Can you reveal when 'The Clone Wars' is set?

PS - You must be having a bit of a busy time of it at the moment, what with Clone Wars, Force Unleashed, Coruscant Nights and a couple of stand-alone novels all due out over the next few months!

Sue is there going to be a book presentation at San Diego Comic Con

There will be a panel dedicated to The Clone Wars program, but not one on general fiction. Frank Parisi (LFL editor) and Carol Roeder (LFL director of publishing) will be on the panel along with Leland Chee and Henry Gilroy (writer of Dark Horse Clone Wars comics) and others. Pablo will moderate. I won't be there this year. :O

256 pages for a $27 hardback?

They can't count the pages of a book that hasn't been
written yet.

That should quiet the fears from here, TheForce.net boards and elsewhere.

We knew that Amazon was a bit crazy here on the pages since Fate of the Jedi is so early into the planning stages and they can be a bit...deceiving on page counts...but it helps with you confirming that those fears are unwarranted.

Thanks Sue!

*No subtitle -- it's the novelization of the movie -- Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

That's it.*

Allrighty. Can I at least assume that the subsequent ones will use episode titles as subtitles?

Hey Sue, there's a ps3 game novel coming out in January by William Dietz. Is this a future star wars book or something totally unrelated. Here's the link link

Sue is there going to be a book presentation at San Diego Comic Con of upcoming SW novels like Millennium Falcon and Fate of the Jedi Book 1,Luke Skywalker and the Shadows of Mindor and the new contract?

Also I hope Fate of the Jedi by Aaron Allston will be a Post-LOTF novel series set after MF since Millennium Falcon will be Han,Leia and Allana's story. Will Fate of the Jedi be Luke and Ben Skywalker and the New Jedi Order's story or will it be set after Revenge of the Sith?

Is there going be a subtitle (unofficial, even) to Karen Traviss' Clone Wars novelization?

No subtitle -- it's the novelization of the movie -- Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

That's it.

"The Clone Wars Book 1" is so generic as to be almost meaningless. :(

lol I'd +fourth +that "OMG" but I was the one seconding Jaina's news so I can't...Ah well. I'm very happy to see Allston back in business here and with it being called Fate of the Jedi, the possibilities are endless.

I think Sue said somewhere else recently she can't confirm anything about the novel until they have the official announcement (press release) ready.

If I had one complaint about it...it's the page count...

256 pages for a $27 hardback?

But Amazon has known to be wrong about page counts before and this is so early before it goes into presses. That'll change.

Anyway...GREAT job LF, DR and Aaron on teaming up again!
