Yes she did, she appeared to Jacen right after she
died. Go reread Destiny's Way.
Then that's a mistake, considering it was made extremely clear that Qui-Gon was the first to re-discover the ability, as he was the one who told Yoda, and no Force Ghosts had been appearing prior, so no one knew about the ability. If Qui-Gon was the first, then how could Vergere have known?

Those are great, and the Lumiya pics in particular are awesome!! They went with her post-Jedi outfit from Marvel and it looks good! Definitely hope to see more Lumiya stories (pre-LOTF) in the future...

How close is a representation of Luke and Lumiya's final duel is this picture from the Jedi vs Sith book

It's a very good picture but I noticed some inconsistencies between this picture and he way it is told in Sacrifice
E.g.
End of page 346/ Top of page 347:
"Lumiya reached up to her face and tore away the veil that covered everything but her eyes"
In the picture she still has the veil
Page 348:
"Lumiya held the whip handle in both hands like a staff and blocked his downward sweep"
In the picture the whip handle is to short to do this

i want it to be vergere. this is the only force ghost
that can reach past Caedus into Jacen Solo. cause
anakin skywalker , was flawed. Caedus knows that
and really does not respect him. so vergere could set
jacen straight. and maybe allana's innocence would
help, like it did in exile. but mara, or anakin would
not have any luck with Caedus as a force ghost, but i
am hoping that mara appears to luke and comforts him.
Except that Vergere didn't know how to do it...

I think we have to assume that Luke has that knowledge since Yoda knew about it. Maybe Anakin Solo couldn't do it because Luke didn't think he would die or he wasn't trained enough to do it. Qui Gon knew about it and even he couldn't fully do it. |

Yes, this is true to the point that a Force ghost of
a known character will most likely appear.
Pretty obviously Mara when they made such a point that she hadn't dissapeared into the Force yet.

Sue,
In terms of the Prologue, I don't think I have ever missed one, but the blank page just seems unnecessary to me.
On an unrelated note, I just wanted to mention how much I love the technique that Karen Traviss uses at the beginning of each chapter of her SW books. A short quote which gives deeper insight into events, character's thoughts, etc. It strikes me as a very effective away of advancing and deepening the story.

Generally the Prologue appears kind of as a a part of the front matter, the title and copyright pages, then the Prologue, then another page with the book title (again) then a blank page, then Chapter 1. Do you ever find that you've missed reading the Prologue entirely???
I don't skip them, but I liked it better when it was included just before the chapter one, like Betrayal through Exile. Though I do think it looks more official this new way.

Well, Sue, in my haste I misread your question (I seem to have been the only one, too. Don?t I feel foolish!) and thought you were contemplating directing the authors to remove the prologues entirely from future novels, leaving us with only the standard front matter - which would be unfortunate. As I mentioned, I even love the blurbs at the start of each of Karen?s chapters. It would be nice to see more authors embrace the idea from time to time. It?s a neat element.
I think we?d find the prologues, even if you buried them on the dark side of the moon. The title page and extra blank page are a nice style touch, but probably nothing more.
Thank you for the tidbit about a Force ghost. I thought that tease reference had come and gone with the appearance of Anakin Solo in Inferno. What a treat it?ll be to find out who will be dropping by for a visit!

Sue when will we know an update on the status of the new contract? Is Del-Rey the winner and anything on the juvenile book contract with Scholastic? I sure like to see Jude Watson continue writing some excellent books
