I haven't decided whether or not to continue with DP pre-posting. I suppose I could post a spoiler warning first.... How does it enhance -- or squash -- your enjoyment to know what the DP is a couple months before the book comes out?

Sue, thank you so much for the exerpt! two of my friends, who are also fans, drifted after NJO, but I shared this series with them, and they have come back! It is a great series and I can't wait to see where it leads!
I can't wait to read Inferno after those two teasers!!

I agree with darthlex74. A 'Behind the Scenes' of LotF would be fantastic.
As for future (Kyp) books (Kyp), seeing (Kyp) more (Kyp) of the unsung (Kyp) Jedi (Kyp) outside the (Kyp) Solo/Skywalker (Kyp) clan (Kyp) would be (Kyp) wonderful!

Another quick comment, Sue: It's been very interesting hearing from the LOTF authors and editors at C3 and C4, and to read the little behind the scenes glimpses into the planning and storytelling decisions that we've gotten so far. I'm really excited about the upcoming author/editor roundtable with Inferno, even if it will be constrained somewhat by avoiding spoilers for later books in the series.
For that reason a full, no-holds-barred debriefing post-_Invincible_, though, would be absolutely fascinating. I'd love to get to hear your perspective (and Shelly's), and the authors', about how the story ideas and character arcs were germinated and developed -- and how the payoff (and reaction) compares to the initial expectation. So I definitely hope you'll keep the idea of some kind of post-_Invincible_ roundtable in mind. |

Definitely.  So far we've only seen the fall. Depending on what happens in the next four books, Jacen's story arc -- and fate -- could look A LOT different than Anakin Skywalker's.  |

And also, I was wondering if Nek Bwua'tu will appear in this book? If so, the book will be perfect in my eyes!

I would think for Sue to answer that now, it would probably give away how everything plays out, whether it completely mirrors anakin, or differs from his outcome entirely.
Alpha Red!!! Sounds like Jacen is up for some totally callous stuff(duh) along the lines of grandad.

I still want to punch Jacen in the head. It's disgusting from that excerpt he can put on the "I'm Innocent" act and Tenel Ka beleives it. And I noticed no "darth caedus" was mentioned which means Jacen can't willingly fess up to being a psycho sith lord.
