Are authors allowed, if asked, to take part in an interview for a fan site? NJOE.Com has a few interviews, and since the LOTF series has been around for a year, I thought the EU Cantina could interview ( over the internet) one of the authors, getting their take on it, and how it's been. Thanks!

Sometimes, yes the authors often do interviews in the sense that you send questions, they answer them -- not live feeds. And the sites are approved on a case-by-case basis. So you'd approach the author, who would call me, and it would go from there....

Hi Sue,

I just wanted to say to you, your team, and Miss.Traviss that you all did a superb job with Sacrifice. I'm very much so looking forward to Inferno. I also had a question though: Are authors allowed, if asked, to take part in an interview for a fan site? Thanks for the link. I voted way back when, but I didn't figure to go back to that spot to see the results.

I may have missed it, but I thought we were gonna be able to see the list of the top five candidates for Jacen's name. Is there a link to them somewhere?

Yeah, you missed it by about four months and a half. Here is the place where the vote took place. There is still the five candidates.

As I was reading Sacrifice, I was wondering what Jacen looked like. The cover of betrayal wasn't really a good look at him. Other than the book covers, are there any other graphics of legacy characters as currently look?

Loved Sacrifice, sorry to see certain events unfold as they did but superb story telling. Kudos to everyone involved. I too am hoping A practical Man makes it into the paperback.

sue so the complete summary for inferno is going to be released at the earliest the end of this month or are you planning to release the beginning of july. second can you give the readers a hint on where does the book start. does it started right after jacen turns sith or are looking at several days to a week between the end of scarfirce and the beginning of inferno. finally the cover for fury looks really cool.

thank you

Issues 1 - 3 and 5 - 7 tell the complete story of Broken... # 4, although not a filler according to the Dark Horse forums, is a kinda stand-alone story...

I just got the tradepaperback for the Legacy comic series called "Broken". Inside it says it compiles issues one through three and five through six. Why wasn't issue four in it?

think it is called The Practical Man and i also want to know when that will be included in a novel

It will be printed in the back of the Sacrifice mass market -- May (or so) 2008.

*And, sorry if you've already read these questions but couldn't/didn't want to answer, but:
  • I'd like to know if you have an idea of a date when things about the new contract with Del Rey will be fixed and announced?*

No, I don't know.

* A question about Sacrifice: Will we see an interview of Karen Traviss about it?

It's not looking like it. Unless I just missed it somewhere. There will be a round-robin interview with Karen, Troy, and Aaron in the back of Inferno, as well as a short excerpt from Fury.

* Then another, about DarthWho (I'm not sure I have to write his exact title): Do the five names among which fans had to choose correspond to what you (and the authors) imagined? And if not, does the elected name, at least, correspond to what you imagined?

I'm not sure what we all imagined, but we're happy with the one that won.

Yeah, I hope that Boba Fett: A Practical Man will be included in a novel. And I can't see any novel better for it than LotF #5: Sacrifice. Unless Rep. Com. #3: True Colors or +Rep. Com #4+? Anyway, the decision's not mine...

Will there be more to 'The mystery of Vergere' or did Lumiya cover everything in Betrayal?

Always more, there is.

Sue, any idea when the short e-book story that Traviss did will be included in one of these novels?

Which short story? She's written a few.
