Is there any plans for a new Tales?
No, not for Tales comics nor Tales anthologies.

You know that there's already 5 Tales... books out, don't you?
Or do you mean that you don't want to buy paperback Tatooine Ghost just for A Forest Apart if you already have the hardcover?

I've always hoped for a Tales from the Jedi Temple. I'd like it to detail the night that Anakin goes in and wipes out all of the Jedi. Each chapter could be a different Jedi's POV, and most of the tales could be directly linked to eachother like in Tales from Jabba's Palace.

If Sean Williams and Shane Dix had had their way, Jacen would probably be with Danni Quee right now.
Sue- Given the nature of the Legacy storyline and LOTF, is there a possibility that there might be something in-between them afterwards? I know its premature, but after reading some of the issues of Legacy, its apparent that a lot of stuff has occurred that eventually can't really be ignored, and thats only now with just 4 issues and a preview issue. I can't imagine what will be revealed by the time we hit issue 15 or 16 of Legacy.
Possibility? I'd say it's a definite. Do you really think that the death of a certain major character would be ignored?
... Actually, that would be kind of cool. If they left it shrouded in mystery for like, ten years. Heh.

Ever since Lightsabers, I had been hoping for them to end up together, and I had to wait a while until they did (Unseen Queen!). So, just wondering if it was planned for them to end up together. Zinnos.
I think it was Troy Denning's idea to put them together. I read in a thread here during the summer that the editors didn't like the scene in The Joiner King where they spent the night together, but when he explained to them his plans regarding that night, it was allowed to stay.
Couples getting together in SW has generally been authors' ideas --- Timothy Zahn agreed to write the Hand of Thrawn duology on the condition that he could hook Luke & Mara up; Allston & Stackpole ditched Qwi Xux in favour of Iella (I'm not sure whose idea specifically that was, as Union and Starfighters of Adumar came out around the same time).

Our thinking at the moment is to include "A Practical Man" in the paperback edition of SACRIFICE -- around May 2008. Sorry for the wait.....
Thanks for the info Sue.

I have yet another question, Sue. I understand that the NJO series wasn't completely planned out from the start, and that you and the others just wanted the story to kind of "grow" as it was being written. Is the+ Legacy of the Force+ series like that, too, or has it already been planned out and already has an ending? Thanks.

I am a big (HUGE) fan of the YJK series, favorites being Tenel Ka, Jacen, Jaina, and Zekk, and I was wondering if from the start, Tenel Ka and Jacen were going to get together. Ever since Lightsabers, I had been hoping for them to end up together, and I had to wait a while until they did (Unseen Queen!). So, just wondering if it was planned for them to end up together. Previous Newspaper/Magazine writing?
Right -- previous magazine or novel writing. You'd
have to be an established author.
Cool.... I'm a journalist for my school's paper and I'm planning on Majoring in English.... Thanks for the information Sue, and God Bless.

*I'm strictly a Lucasfilm employee and will be here until I get fired.
I hope that doesn't happen.*
I was just joking.....
btw...I'm currently working towards my BA in English and Professional Writing, and I hope to become a fiction editor myself after I graduate. What would someone have to do to become an editor at Lucasbooks?
Well, first, we'd have to have a position open! There are just the two of us, myself and Jonathan Rinzler. Your education sounds super -- you'd probably have to start out as a copy or line editor at a publishing company and work your way up, then look for a job here. When you're ready, just keep checking the postings on lucasfilm.com.... and keep a strong connection to the Force.
