Is there any chance of having some of the older advertisements for SW books archived online? In particular the trailer for Shadows of the Empire and the TV commercial for Jedi Search, for example. These trailers were interesting to watch, and are hard to find now.

Dark Nest Trilogy: Is it really set 5 years after the NJO, or is it really set at 35 ASW4? Those aren't the same years, given that the NJO actually ends in 29, not 30, ASW4.

Which year should we consider correct for the start of Dark Nest?

Has it been established yet if Jobin (as in Corporal Jobin) was indeed a surname and if this has any bearing on Mon Mothma's marital status or the identity of her children's father?

Nothing established.

*BTW, Eeusu, sorry I let the birding thread lapse so long, I was meaning to ask you what you saw in Mexico... *

Not to worry. I don't make it to the birding thread very often. Mexico -- I was fascinated by the manta rays jumping up out of the water and then slapping the surface and going under again. Sometimes four or five rays would jump at the same time, the sun shining off their bodies as they waved... really looked like they were having fun. B-)

-*Is there any word yet on whether we'll get mass market editions of the PT novelisations with cover art based on the DVD cases for those of us who want a "matched set?"*

No word yet.

Sue, What's the possibility we'll get to see Mirax Horn and Winter Celchu in action again? And how about their kids? Although it's great to read about the next generation of jedi, how about the next generation fighter pilots and whatever occupations the ex-Rogue's kids go into?

Sorry if these questions are redundant, I've been out of this forum for ages:

-Is there any word yet on whether we'll get mass market editions of the PT novelisations with cover art based on the DVD cases for those of us who want a "matched set?"

-Has it been established yet if Jobin (as in Corporal Jobin) was indeed a surname and if this has any bearing on Mon Mothma's marital status or the identity of her children's father?

BTW, Eeusu, sorry I let the birding thread lapse so long, I was meaning to ask you what you saw in Mexico... :)

*But you never know Sue could surprise us and have out sooner.

True, or later even.*

Hehe. Except that wouldn't be so much of a surprise... :p

(not meant personally of course; I understand the time issues involved in publishing) :)

The article answers the question for us: "all new full color illustrations by digital artist Ian Fullwood."<<

Right, but Ian did the art for both the NEGTV&V (which had lovely 2D illustrations) and the NEGTW&T (which had shoddy 3D illustrations), so I'd like to know which style to expect for NEGTDroids.

VIP'S Will there be any more comic adaptations of SW novels from Dark Horse in the future like NJO or the upcoming LOTF books or even the Jedi Academy trilogy?

Sue, I was wondering if we will get to see the cover for the first book in the Legacy era, Betrayal, sometime soon? I wouldn't even mind a preliminary cover for now.

We're working on some preliminary designs now. It may take a bit longer since we want to design a new logo look for the series and have the covers have some design elements in common. Placing of the "Legacy of the Force" series title and the individual book titles takes some thought. We're in the second round of revisions right now and I expect a few more before we settle on anything.

Comic adaptations of the Lando Calrissian trilogy and the other two books in the original Han Solo trilogy by Brian Daley would be fun too.*

Nothing's been announced over there, or even hinted at that I remember. They've got a pretty exciting lineup of original books planned for the near future.

I certainly hope there won't be any. They shouldn't be wasting their talent and time retelling stories that have been done already.

*

I have never seen a cover or any info on a book be released less than 6 months before release. I expect something in December.

If Sue doesn't know, you might want to try going to DarkHorse.com's message boards. The Dark Horse VIP's tend to hang out there more than here.
