Thank you for the DP! I think Han's pro-Kyp sentiments totally make up for the Jedi Master's DP absence.

See? Don't take alot to please me. ;)

Cool list Sue, thanks a bunches.......or something.
And great dialog between Han and leia too. It would
be great to see him conftrong Zekk about his
following around jaina all the time. And that is
interesting having a kaminoan called Taun We.....
Hmmmmmm.........

Maybe we'll see some clones, you know the RC kind. Taun We could have helped Darman and company with the age slowing process that was mentioned in Odds. Still it's a link to the prequels, don't you just love the EU?

Hey JMM, as you said we all know he is a jedi apprentice and a powerful one at that, so who cares what the DP calls him exactly. Just be glad it doesn't sith apprentice.......... yet........

He's not Jacen's official apprentice, as recognized by the Jedi order. Luke and Mara have just agreed that Ben can hang out with Jacen.

Hello all, I haven't been posting about this series because I want to enjoy the books without too much sceaming back and forth about my views. However I must say that I can't wait for the DP list Sue. I am someone who will not be disappointed at all because the only character I really care about being a major role is (come on this one's easy) Jacen Solo. The rest of the cast are just supporting as far as I'm concerned. My favorite character is at the forefront of this series shaking up everyone's galaxy and I LOVE it. And for those that LOVE jaina and want her to "take jacen down" a notch or two.... If you love jaina, you should be hoping that she stays out of his way. You wouldn't want her to be a .............. sacrifice........... would you......

HeHeHe LONG LIVE JACEN SOLO ]:)

I think she's teasing us. Which is cruel. Baiting us, really.

Ah... no, I really am torn. Maybe teasing a little bit... I sure don't intend to be cruel, though.

Let me get some stuff out of the way here and I'll post the list.......

See how torn I am??

Disappointments will occur. But - it's still thrilling! It takes some of the bite off the anticipation, and, after a week, makes it worse. We're addicted.

the jedi master i've always been interesed in was streen. maybe in LOTF we find out that he has a padawan learner. I've been thining that the possibilitly of sone of these jedi masters could possibley die in LOTF and if only one of them died i think it will be kyp because this whole series is about shocking fans and kyp is a character that if he died is would defienetly shock the readers. perhaps the first major saber duel in the series will be jacen vs kyp where jacen kills him and realizes he can't go back to the jedi order just like anikin sealed his fate by chopping mace's hand off

*i forgot kyp wasn't in the last book, he is becoming a minor character now (DN didn't have mush of him either). *

I think I read in Darknest : Joiner King that Jedi Masters have taken a backseat an serve mainly as Diplomatic Negotiators . Jedi Masters like Corran Horn an Kyp Durron might not be the center of attention anymore. (With the exception of a few like Luke an Mara) It's the up an coming Jedi Knights that are in the thick of things now.

I didn't want to presume that Tenel Ka's society would necessarily give a child the father's last name. Apparently many human societies do (like Luke being Skywalker and Leia being Organa) but you don't want to assume "it's just like modern Western society!"

If Kyp Durron doesn't have a major role in Bloodlines, I'd rather know now and get my disappointment out of the way so that I can enjoy the book, rather than encountering it for the first time inside the cover, seconds before diving in, after waiting with hope for months beforehand.

But that's just one girl's opinion on the value of advance-release DP. ;)
