Is there a Mando'a to english dictionary?

See http://www.erikstormtrooper.com/ for info on Star Wars fonts. It's the resource I used for my simple editor Miitkad (http://miitkad.mrklingon.org). For something people can read, you might want to use the Engli-besh, which is a nice Star Wars font that gives you readable text.

I strongly disagree with your statements. Mando'a is NOT like English, you can't take one word sub it and come out with the same meaning...
Take for example,
Are you doing alright?
Tion'gar narir jate
That would be incorrect. It would mean something more along the lines of, "Are you acting in the interest of good?"
Tion'gar aalar jatne manda for a mando. Although jatne might be appropriate if not mando. Directly transfered would be as follows: You feel good mood?

Ok, I've got another one.

I've been looking at some of Areutii Ba'jurir and I noticed in lesson 1 (the only lesson) that it says Tion'ad gar is who are you? I'm looking at the April dictionary, and I'm noticing that Tion'ad is who yes, but its more of a what person, which would seem to be more applicable when talking to a mando'vod and saying pointing to another person, Tion'ad, who's he? A more appropriate phrase for walking up to someone would be Tion'gar gai.

I can't seem to find an appropriate word for school... Any ideas?

There isn't one in the newest version of the dictionary (April '08). It kind of makes sense that a clan-based semi-anarchic society like the Mandalorians wouldn't have a centralised institution like a school deeply ingrained in their language. But, one has to assume they have some somewhere, and encounter other people's, so if you want something credible while staying semi-canonical, there is this in the April '08 version:

"Bajur: education, the raising and nurturing of children - a wider meaning than just school work, includes preparation for life and survival."

"Hibir: pupil, student."

I would suggest you could therefore probably get away with using bajur'yaim (i.e. "house of education/learning") or hibir'yaim ("students' house," roughly) as a credibly Mando'a term that obviously refers to a school in some sense...

Fellow fan Jay put it in our Fate of the Jedi discussion but I'll pass it along here for the Mando fans. He asked Karen Traviss whether she will be involved in the FotJ series and while she said no, she did say that she will be more than happy coming back to Fett and the Mandalorians.

long as they continue those strands, and as long as they ask me to write
them, anyway.

Definitely makes sense. She's so passionate about the Mandalorians/RC/IC and Fett that it would be a good move for LFL and Del Rey to let her run free and focus on expanding those storylines for you Mando fans.
