Again, you underestimate Han Solo. The ones who have been foolish enough to do so have pretty much invariably ended up with a blaster bolt singeing their insides.

You want a more realistic way Han could win? How about bringing in ysalimiri? It's not like he hasn't done that BEFORE to combat rogue Jedi (coughTheNewRebellioncough).:p

*ummm who said anything bout Han building a death star....if ur gonna bash people do it on somebody elses watch buddy. what was said was for the most part, logical. NO force user will stop a thermal detonator...and other things that were brought up. if ur gonna talk smack then QUOTE what somebody said instead of making up crap.
thank you *

Its called being facetious. My point is that I see a lot of posts saying this is possible or that is possible no matter how off the wall and instead of quoting them all which the post won't allow room for, I made an example and took it to the max to make sure someone reading would get the point. YOU didn't, sorry bout that. And seeing as how i didn't quote anyone i wasn't bashing anyone, so back the heck off and settle down just cause I doubt your BOY can pull off a kill.

No one really knows what the heck Lumiya is talking about, shes a sloppy character thats all over the place. One minute shes accusing Vergere of being a Sith , the next shes trying to be friends with Luke....now shes fighting him again????

Didnt she stage her own death?.....FOR WHAT? She came back in the next book like nothing ever happened. Whats was the point? Any further hints of other Sith lurking about is nothing to me but more Sloppyness.

Darth Krayts Story line is 1,000's better then Lumiyas.....I prey that its not ruined by an EU connection.

Lumiya never actually said that there were other sith. She allowed Alema to draw her own conclusions and then she played them.

Well, like the Sith in Betrayal who turns out to be a future Jacen, perhaps the Sith she speaks of are merely metaphorical, or Sith ghosts like Palpatine and Vader?

Solo out

"That would be very dissappointing. The Writters have said time and again that the Legacy Comics and the Books are not directly related. If they go back on that now then I would be very sad.

Lets keep Krayt and Lumiya seperate and the stories as they are. INDIVIDUAL. "

I guess I was thinking the authers denial of a connection was a smoke-screen. If not Krayt's Sith, who do you think the other Sith Lumiya referred to in Tempest are?

Anyone else think that once Jacen is fully Sith Lumiya will betray him? I believe she is really working for Darth Krayt's Sith. If you think about it her vision of Imperial order is exactly what Krayt achieves in the Legacy comics. I

Lumiya still has a role to play, the Sith battle meditation technique that she described to Jacen needs to be taught to him and he will probably ask more about the group of Sith that she hinted at existing.

But once he assumes his Sith name and the War is beyond the point of no return she is less valuable as a character. The authors are going to need more space for the characters of Ben and Jaina as they take on the role of primary protagonists.

Luke is going to kick Lumiya's butt next time around as long as he doesn't have to worry about the safety of civilians or Mara being used against him in the middle of the battle. One on one he takes her.

Man Techie, I hear ya, Thought would be at the begining of May & I just looked &, ITS THE END OF MAY!!!
I waited until NJO was done to start too, I can see waiting through a trilogy or even this because its so good but 19 Books! For those who went through the whole thing waiting a month or 2 for each book, Well you've got more pateince than me.
Anyways I think when & If Jacen kills Lumiya it will be in the old tradition of the apprentice dueling the master, but I think If she dies soon it will be from somebody more like Luke or something.

One of the spoilers that JMM missed.........

Spoiler Warning
Insider pg. 50

"Early in Sacrifice, Lumiya and the fallen Twi'lek
Jedi Alema Rar argue over their plans for the Solos
and Skywalkers."

Speculation*
What do you want to bet Lumiya figures out (Alema
spills the beans) who Allana's Daddy is. According
to Darth Bane little girls make nice apprentices]:)
Lumyia would love to have Allana as an apprentice,
, she is of the Skywalker bloodline.

End Spoiler

That would be an interesting scenario. Maybe Luymina trying to bring allana to the dark side would make Jacen start to see sense or at least turn Luymina into an enemy (like he doesn't have enough people trying to stop him.)

ANOTHER MONTH IS TOO LONG A WAIT!!!

Good thing I didn't start reading njo until the last book was released. I'd go insane with waiting for that series.

I think the real question is not what Lumiya would do about Allana, but what would Jacen do if Lumiya finds out. Remember, this is his greatest and best kept secret, and if it leaks out, especially to Lumiya, then IMO it means trouble. I strongly believe that Lumiya's time is quickly running out, once Jacen has become a Sith her role will be complete, and her purpose fulfilled. Perhaps she will be Jacen's first kill as a Sith.

If Lumiya finds that out then I wonder what she'll do
about it, leave her alone (no), Enlist/kidnap her
(maybe), Kill her (maybe). Whos know what if she
alredy knows.

Because she is basically a tabla rasa, Lumiya would probably want Jacen to keep her alive and make her a Sith. On the other hand I am not sure if she would view Tenel Ka as a potential convert particularly because if Jacen killed Allana she would never be able to deal with him. The other factor would be that Tenel Ka is missing her arm and as a result her force power is diminished.

Think from a sith perspective. If Lumiya could eliminate Tenel Ka and turn the rightful heir to the throne (Allana) into a sith, she could have a Sith ruling a powerful planetary system.

If Luke dies it will be in book #9. It is the only hard back book left. The publishers are not going to let Luke die in a paperback book!
