*Book comes out June 7th here.

Ah well. That gives me enough time to read Exile plus I pre-ordered it on Amazon which means I'll get it a couple of days early.*

I live in England by the way.

I purchased the book at my local bookstore thursday the 24th and just finished it this morning. I'm guessing from posts above me that the book isn't supposed to be on store shelves this soon?

I'm not gonna post about it for another few weeks or so tho. I'll only say it's good & a very enjoyable read.

Darth Jefe if you really want spoilers you should check out this site http://boards. theforce.net/literature/b10003/26646235/p37
thats where I've gotten a lot of mine and there is a ton of converstaion/debate going on about the spoilers there too. I would start with page 37. Hope that helps. But I warn you don't go to this site if you don't want to really know what happens ok

ok kind of really off topic here but I need help with a choice...I live in Southern Cali an hour and a half away from LA and am contemplating going to C4 on monday (since it's the only day I can make it) but I'm a little hesitant because the hours are only 9am-4pm (when the rest of the weekend is 9am-midnight) and there isn't as much cool stuff going on as the other days. If you guys were me what would you do? Go? skip? pick your nose? Help me out.

And as a side note I soooooooooooooooo can't wait to read this book! !!!It's driving me nuts waiting even though I've shamefully read a lot of spoliers already I still want to read it for myself sooooooooooooooooo bad!!!!!!!

So how does one get a copy of a book that hasn't been officially released yet? I called a couple local stores, but they weren't accomodating. Help a girl out.

How could I, I peaked at the spoilers thread and, No! (washing eyes). I'll follow rules but all I have to say is that the spoilers were what I expected.

You people from D.C. call yourself's fans!!!!!!!!!!! Karen Traviss has a book signing in D.C. June 4, 2007. Check out her web site http://karentraviss.com

I still have to drive almost 6 hours to Indianapolis. (I just happen to have a family reunion the same weekend).

(groans) You know, it's at times like this I almost wish I lived in the US, since they always seem to get everything before everyone else (bloody Yanks!).

I was contemplating heading over to the US for the chance to get the book early and go to one of these signing or whatever, but I doubt it's worth shelling out about $2000 just to get a book and see someone slightly famous.

(sighs) I guess I will just have to be patient then.

I'm all for a signing in DC!

I can't wait for the book to come out so we can start on the discussion thread. I am afraid that I for one have read several spoilers, and so I am recusing myself from "speculating" further.

Why don't they go to the nation's capital (USA) and sign books? I mean I would travel up to 3 hours to get my book signed!

I heard some rumors about plots. Other than that I do not have a early copy of the book. I usually buy my Star Wars books through Walden books or Borders Books.
