I read that the novel is going to be released around August 19th.

At Celebration Europe it was revealed that Lucasarts is planning a sequel or sequels to the video game.

"All these characters are going into the continuity, they?ll all be canon, and they?re all part of the Star Wars galaxy. So I can imagine that there will be other follow-ups with those characters. We?re already starting to toss around ideas about the next storyline and how some of these characters can resurface and have major roles in a sequel."

I hear Wii Boxing gives you a pretty good cardio burn. Just like boxing but without smashing your hands into a 50-lbs bag, which is good if your hands have the strength of a cereal box and the thickness of baby carrots.

But I digress. Some Target stores are putting TUF-related toys on clearance, and the Order 66 two-packs, too.

waves Hey youse goys.

i have a feeling that what you are using wari is more comprehensive than wii fit. wii fit does not have those features. but i think wii fit is great, and i think it is best for beginner and intermediate excercising. it is also something kids can do. i think your system is deeper and probably more for adults. you get a score everytime you do workout though. when you have more than one person on the system, you can be competitive and try to best one another. that does help keep you going.

Question: Does the Wii Fits personal trainer take grade points away from you for skipping a training session? I think thats such a good incentive for keeping players focused. Also JMM...can you guys take (before and after) pictures an transfer them into the Wii?

I'm trying to compare the Playstations Kenetics to the Wii Fit. They both seem to be extremely beneficial. The selling point for me is (obviously an improved health program) but also the before an after pictures. Does the Wii have that same Eye Toy option that the PS2 has? If so thats super cool !

I heard also that Wii Fit has increased players health condition. One of my best friends has Wii Fit an I've noticed his muscles have tightened a bit. But hes on a dietary program aswell so I'm sure that helps.

I think the Wii Fit is awesome. Like JMM , if you practice with your loved one then it's even more effective. You guys can support each other while training......an I'm sure it's very challenging.

On the other hand, I have the Playstations eyetoy compatible Kinetic fitness trainer. It's sponsored by Nike and Motion Works. I'm on a 3 month program an I'm loving it. It teaches me Tai Chi, Yoga, Cardio, uppers , lowers an even has a heart rate monitor. I'm 2 months in an I feel great. Although I don't have a Wii Fit, I'm still getting results from the Playstation.

Wii is a creative improvement from the Game Cube, but I question it's longevity. I dont care about how new an improved it is.........

those that make the arguement that the Wii got thier lasy kid off the coach, so therefor it's a great system.....those folks have no idea what proper fittness is.

For the record I never said the Wii was a bad system. All I said was I don't think it has a long life span. Considering the lack of success from thier last console, my comment didnt just come out of the blue.

Sure everyone is celebrating the Wii in the same fashion they celebrated Sega. Despite the failures of Sega CD, Sega neptune and Sega Saturn........fans would look at you sideways if you said anything negative about the Sega Dream cast. Sega Dreamast is "newer" , it's "better". But where is it now?........gone.

I see myself buying Star Wars games for the Wii an two years later , being left in the dust.

Rogue Leader was awesome for the GC, Sonic and Mario also gave me hours of enjoyment. but the argument that the Wii is going to be the future for Nintendo ........thats played itself out several times. Talk to me in two more years about how great the Wii is.

X-Box an Playstation hav proven thier staying power.

well i like xbox alot, but i just dont have the dough for it. with the wii i get a cheaper system, and greater gameplay. you talk about not having adult games, yet you can get manhunt, godfather blackhand( which is the best game of its type i ever played a+), resident evil, and such. and i have wii fit, which is great.

Well, like you said, this is a thread about TFU so I wont argue the point here. If you have any interest in continuing this discussion there are some threads about the different consoles we can move to. If you like, let me know and I'll respond to the above in one of the other threads and link here.

I said my goodbyes to Mario after that. Then 2007 comes along and I invest my money in the Playstation 3 and the X-box 360 .....just to be on the safe side. An all of a sudden the Nintendos Wii is taking the lead in next Gen entertainment?

I'm tired of dancing with Nintendo so yeah, I don't trust them. If that makes me a Wii hater then I'm ok with that.

Whats great about this thread is that I don't have to support one or favor it in order to enjoy the Force Unleashed as the main topic.

You're again welcome to your opinion but I'm not gonna argue with you on this one since you're obviously a big Wii hater

I used to own a Sega Genesis, but all the great games came out for SuperNintendo. I really coulnt afford a SN at the time. But I always wanted one. This is why I got the Nintendo 64 when it first came out. I wa absolutely sure all the game designers for SN would cross over.....they didnt. It took a full year before they came out with any good games. (that I liked ) soon after that all the good games seemed to all be for the Playstation instead. So I switched over to the Playstation. Then My son begged me for the Game Cube because he loves Nintendo an Mario. I bought that when it first came out, bought the 4 controllers and several of the games, shortly thereafter Nintendo stopped making Game Cube games. (I don't care what thier reasons were)

despite the fact that the wii will lose alot when it comes to tfu, because it cannot handle dmm and euphoria, it is still far superior in gameplay, and the wii version has the battle arena, and the others don't and the wii version has extra levels.
