During his duel with Mace, you see Palpatine's lightsaber fall out the window, does build another one before his duel with Yoda?

Whether Palpatine is his first name or surname, whether he even has another name and what exactly it is have never been revealed. See here for some more info:

In Revenge of the Sith, on Coruscant I've noticed a building that looks like the structures you see on Mon Calamari in the 2-D Clone Wars series. I was wondering if it's an embassy or Meena Tills' apartment or something?

In The Clone Wars episode 21: Liberty of Ryloth, there is both day and night in the same hemisphere. I thought that it's rotation caused the same side to always face the sun.

I am wondering if there is any chance that we might "special editions" of the original trilogy novelizations. I would love to see (own) newly updated editions that take into account the information given in the prequel trilogy. I know there are some things that are counter to the prequels, and there are other areas where I feel the novelizations could be given more depth using the prequels. Any thoughts? Would Lucas allow such a thing?

In the DVD version of ROTJ there is the new shot of Theed complete with a Gungan shouting "Wesa free!" A lot of people seem to be under the impression that it is Jar Jar who shouts. As far as I know that was not the intention because nothing official has ever mentioned it being Jar Jar in ROTJ. So is it Jar Jar or just another Gungan, and is it Ahmed Best doing the voice or another actor?

There was a short sequence cut from Ep I where Qui-Gon scolds Obi-Wan for not deactivating his saber before going underwater. That is why it temporarily does not work and hence Obi-Wan is running from the STAPs and has to be helped out by Qui-Gon. See here for more on that.

Most lightsabers are not waterproofed but some Jedi, such as Kit Fisto, do make such modifications to their weapons to allow them to be used underwater. Rain will not necessarily affect an ordinary saber but to work when submerged, they must be made specially waterproof. The book Star Wars Chronicles: The Prequels makes note of Kit Fisto's saber:

"Fisto's lightsaber includes redundant water seals to protect it from salt water. This is a necessity borne of Fisto's frequent aquatic missions."

And from here:

"His lightsaber had two crystals employing a bifurcating cyclical-ignition pulse that allowed the blade to operate underwater. This proved helpful on Mon Calamari during the Clone Wars."

Obi-Wan too made his new saber waterproof after he lost his original one in Ep I. So if there are other Jedi who use their sabers underwater then they must also have taken the trouble to modify them.

Here's some details that were in the Star Wars Fact Files:

+"The Jedi are always learning and evolving, and their lightsabres are often modified as they experience new places and challenges. This was certainly true of Obi-Wan Kenobi. He discovered that his lightsabre was prone to short out when immersed in water. This happened, for example, when the young Jedi bailed out of a Trade Federation landing craft into a pond on Naboo.

Gently scolded by Qui-Gon Jinn for his own forgetfulness, Obi-Wan vowed to make appropriate modifications to his sabre. When the opportunity arose to do so it was tinged with sadness. During the battle with Darth Maul that claimed Qui-Gon's life, the younger Jedi was knocked down a shaft. Hanging on for dear life, Obi-Wan could only watch as Maul casually kicked his lightsabre into the deep pit.

Obi-Wan's first lightsabre was lost forever. This gave the Jedi the opportunity to build another, similar weapon, but this time with a few modifications that meant it could operate in wet conditions. It was to prove an invaluable upgrade in future battles."+

If this has been asked/answered already I apologize.
This has been bothering me for a few years. In the Jedi Apprentice Series and in the novilization of Episode 1, lightsabers short circuit if they have been under water and were not shut off. However, in Episode 2 and in The Approaching Storm lightsabers not only work when wet, but when they are completly submerged. Are lightsabers water proof or not? Thanks. :)

I have a couple fo questions you might be able to help with:

Firstly, in ANH the noise Obi-Wan makes to scare the Tusken Raiders was changed in the DVD version and I was wondering whether there was a specific reason for that? Is it still supposed to be Obi-Wan imitating a krayt dragon? Some people have speculated that it was changed to more closely resemble the call of Boga from ROTS. Is there any truth to that rumour? Is the more recent noise a new sound effect or one of those created a long time ago but never used?

Secondly, it has been mentioned that in a shot on Kashyyyk in ROTS a Juggernaut gets hit and the blast mark on the front is shaped like Yoda's head (see here for a picture). Whilst it looks a bit like it, is it really an Easter egg put there by the animators, or merely a coincidence? Thanks for any help you can give.

If you look at that moment paused or slowed down you can see that the blast simply misses Obi-Wan.

In episode II during the fight seen between Obi-wan and Jango Fett , right before they fall of the platform, Jango shoots Obi-wan and it appears to hit him directly but Obi-wan does not falter. Was he using a force shield or something?

*I have a question that's been bugging me ever since Jedi vs. Sith: The Essential Guide to the Force was released. The book's timeline of events and the account of Count Dooku's resignation from the Jedi Order both claim the Battle of Galidraan (in which Dooku led a Jedi taskforce against the True Mandalorians led by Jango Fett) took place in 44 BBY, in direct contradiction to the comic Jango Fett: Open Seasons which features the event first-hand. Open Seasons states the battle took place "twelve years before the Battle of Geonosis," placing it at 34 BBY. Is it possible that the writers of Jedi vs. Sith mistook the Battle of Geonosis reference for the Battle of Naboo, thus causing the mathmatical error?
Tyler Huffman, via e-mail*
It is the comic that is in error. The Battle at Galidraan takes place 44 BBY. Interesting note: the young female Jedi seen with Dooku is Komari Vosa from the Bounty Hunter video game.

*So i just saw "Clone Wars" in theatres today and i couldn't help but notice that Anakin has the scar on his right eye that Asaaj Ventress gave him in their final battle during the "Clone Wars" earlier animated tv show. This battle of course led to Ventress' death. So how can it be that he has his scar in the new "Clone Wars"? What gives???
-Arya Zarifi, via e-mail*
Anakin didn't get the scar in the earlier animated TV show and you never saw Asajj die, you just saw her fall. As depicted in the comics, Asajj would return to give Anakin the scar later on in the timeline during a duel with Anakin on Coruscant.

Mr. Chee:

I know you'll be hearing this question a lot in the next few days, and for that, I apologize. But let it be remembered that Grand Admiral Sean asked first! ;)

SPOILERS

How can the Executor appear in spaceworthy form in The Force Unleashed when its construction was not completed until after the Battle of Yavin?

Thank you for your assistance, sir.

In TESB Luke falls from Cloud City but at the last moment he manages to grab onto that weather vane. In the shot looking down though, an object can be seen falling. I know the purpose of that was to show the audience how far down Luke would fall but is there any information about what the falling object was? This question comes up again and again online so I was wondering if there was a definite answer. Suggestions such as Luke's gun, lightsaber or even his severed hand have been made but it doesn't look like any of those. Is it just a piece of the weather vane that broke off or something else? Thanks for your expert assistance.
