Hello there,

well I do have a question to the old hyperspace content, yeah I know...another one ;-)

I really hope that the insider exclusive content will be back soon...I really enjoyed those and sad but true...I didn't read them all ;-(

and

you had in your old hyperspace archive articles like "Dentaal declares independecen" or "Fondor closed traffic" and so on.......will those articles be back too??

thanks in advance

T.

This is your place to let those who work on the site know what you like and don't like about the redesign. Also please let us know of any errors you find so they can be fixed quickly.

WHY IS IT SO?

Sorry to reopen an old thread, but I just noticed that the links given in the FAQs for the forums are broken. Only the URLsthat link to part of the forums work.

I love the site and am very excited to join the community; however, I am very disappointed not to have Siri Tachi as an available avatar. Who can I contact to get her listed?

Not a suggestion, but I didn't know where else to ask this. Is there any way to see the posts or threads you've made?

I just dont get it, why change so much that i find it really hard to navigate and to find everything.
I dont visit much, heck, maybe only a few times this year, verses just about everyday (used to)
If i visited everyday or a few times a week then i would get used to all of the revisions and changes, but i dont, now a lot of the ads are really annoying, and i know that they are needed.
Also, I thought that if you joined Hyperspace you wouldnt see all of the ads ?

It's a pain. A lot of critical content has disappeared and it's seriously frakked up Wookieepedia. I say they should put it back the way it was.

I'msemi new to the site. But Im on a mission to read every book in order. Started with Darth Bane and had to jump around a little bit. But I have either 2 problems. One is I went to the book area of the store and didn't see anything.

Second is why under Tarkin bio does it say nothing about rouge planet and what he did there. Thanks guys

In Firefox 3.0, I'm having trouble with the links on the main Hyperspace page. Currently, I can't click any links from below the main navigation bar to halfway through the buttons for Webstrips and Fiction. The "Fists of Ion" link, the Hyperspace ad, the tabs for "The Clone Wars" and "Most Popular" on the news scrollbar, and half of the Webstrips and Fiction links basically don't appear. Everything else below and above that point seems to work fine. I was thinking this might be a problem with the spacer image used for some of the links, but since Webstrips and Fiction don't use a spacer, I'm not sure what's causing it. All of the links except the tabs on the news scrollbar work fine in IE.

We REALLY need a full archive of Hyperspace content which is properly browsable, not through this weird search thing which is impossible to use.

I did my best to read all the solutions and the links provided, but I'm sorry guys. I'm still lost. When I go to Hyperspace all I see is Fiction, webstrips an the downloadable kit. The only description I can provide for how i feel is just plain lost. I realize that the redesign is not yet completed an more are on the way, but navigating through Hyperspace has now become a chore whereas before it was so much easier. Even the Hyperspace drop menue only provides 4 or 5 options. I know the other benefits are here somewhere, but it's way too much work finding them.

I know these issues are already being addressed, but I had to add my opinion. The website overall looks great an I love the video section especially........but HyperSpace is a disaster.

With the old, text-based list, I could scroll down through it, and see if a title seemed familiar. Now, it's basically a game of "guess what terms the summary will include", search for them, and HOPE I'm right.
Now, I couldn't care less, if this included the Source Archive material in a list combined with Hyperspace Fiction. But all I want is a list of the fiction short stories that are available on the site. If you're going to put some of this stuff on the non-Hyperspace part of the site, fine. Just give me some simple, concise index of all the stories. I wouldn't even care if you broke them down into categories of some type, as long as the links were ALL IN ONE PLACE. (and not via the search engine)

...Especially the hyperspace Fiction and Source Archive
sections. ... ... The Fiction and Source Archive are why I
have hyperspace or even come here in the first place. I
would much rather be reading Star Wars stories with my
free time than trying to figure out what happened to every-
thing on this web site.

This has been a very frustrating issue to me, as well. Now, when I go to Hyperspace, and click on "Fiction", I see big ad-like links to the five most recent stories, and no indication of where to click for the remainder of the stories.
Previously, there was a simple list of text-based links that contained EVERY "Fiction" short story posted in the Hyperspace Fiction area, along with the date it was posted. As far as I can tell, the only link that could show previously posted stories, simply goes to a site-wide search result. It may be possible to narrow the search down, but what if I don't know the title of a story I'm looking for? (cont)

It is very frustrating. I would like to be able to read the articles from the Insider Online Supplements that I thought I was paying for when I signed up for Hyperspace.

Whoa... what happened? The original layout (the one that looks like these wonderful forum designs) were great. The different themed sections for the different movies, less ... er... what seems like "buy stuff spam" and endless links to merchandise and the Clone Wars movie site... Not so good.

I'm not speaking from a technical standpoint mind you.. .I'm speaking from a design and graphical standpoint. This new site, especially regarding the Databank and the Sections on movies past are extremely lacking... No borders... Arial Font... looks like a template job to me. Where's the design elements besides the minimalist approach?

I'd love to see more of the great comic style art brought back like the pic of Maul that was on the Episode 1 site....

Sigh... maybe I'm just and old school fanboy, out with the old and all, maybe the kids like this new kind of style? Don't know. Not me.
