Or Daala still in power and charging them with treason forcing the Horn family as well as everyone else to flee with Jag and Jaina to the empire

Hey that's a interesting concept- I could see that working too. Not wanting the suspicions from their past actions the Fallen Jedi head to the Imperial Remnant.

But note we have only seen human IK's which makes me wonder... Will it be the human crazy Jedi as well as Jaina?

It's important to remember that the beginning of
Legacy is still over 80 years away from FOTJ. While
I agree that Jag will be Emperor by the end of this
series (probably unwillingly, in response to a failed
coup by the Moffs), and my user name will finally be
appropriate (yay!), I don't think the IKs will
be formed. Rather, I think we'll have a group of
Jedi in the Empire who will be the core of
what later becomes the Imperial Knights: a branch of
the Order that eventually becomes disconnected with
the rest and goes its own way.

Agreed- I think that's how they get the name. Jaina and her group of friends are not Masters, they are all Knights, if they go, after a while they will be seen as the Imperial Knights, and then when Jag does his Empire thing they will formalize and "break off" from the Order in some fashion.

Gee, I wish they had these Imperial Knights in almost all Star Wars media. I love it when they have a 3rd. side of Force-users. It spices things up a little, no?

Also look at what type of organization the Imperial Knights are. Unlike the Jedi they are not interested in learning the mysteries of the universe. To them the force is a tool to achieve their goals. This is a military group not a monastic order. They know about the dangers of the dark side and work to avoid it like Jedi but focus more on practical problem solving rather then philosophical thought. This description also fits Jaina. She has never shown an interest in the more philosophical view of the force that her brother Jacen and uncle Luke have. Her view more matches that of both the Anakin?s in her family.

Jaina has the mind set for it. Her loyalty to the order is based more on the fact that her uncle is its founder and leader rather then whole hearted belief in the traditional Jedi philosophy. She has always been more aggressive in her outlook then traditional Jedi. Also due to her time in the military and her training with the Madalorian?s she has the proper skill set to set up a more aggressive proactive group.

The Imperial Knights could very well be established in the next few books of the FOTJ series. In Abyss we saw that some Jedi, losing faith in the councils ability to lead and protect its members, are leaving the order. Jaina is also having problems with the order due to its more passive stance and her relationship with Jag. With the Sith again on the rise and the GA and Jedi Order busy dealing with each other I could see Jaina along with these former members establish her own order to fight the Sith. While some others like Zekk have been mentioned as possible founders I see Jaina as the one to establish the order.

First I can?t see any of the old guard, those that fought on the First Galactic Civil War, breaking away from Luke?s order to do this. They are all too loyal to Luke and have too many issues with the Empire to do it. When the break comes it will come from the younger generation, those that came of age after it, basically anyone between Jaina and Ben?s age.

Wow my first post. ? I feel special.

Ok I dropped out of Star Wars fandom after the NJO ended and have only recently got back into it with FOTJ. After a few hours driving myself blind on Wookipedia I find myself really into the idea of the IK and the Fel dynasty.

Think two of the main things that will happen in FOTJ is Jag taking the throne and establishing the Fel dynasty with Jaina as his empress and Jaina establishing the Imperial Knights. As for how this comes about, I think it will be driven more by circumstances then anything else. Jag will make him self emperor because he will see it as the only way the keep the Moffs in line and not undo all the reforms Pellaeon enacted during his rule. Jag has already said he wants a Jedi presence in the empire and for probably the same reason. To keep an eye one the Moffs and to make sure the Empire doesn?t backslide into its old ways.

Thought it was time to bring this thread back as i have seen a lot of chat about it in other threads and seeing as we now know that the IK's are created look after Jag Fel when he became's Emperor.

So will we see the IK's in FOTJ or after it has end as i can see they could be need in the Empire if the Lost Tribe of the Sith makes a move against it, as i can see the NJO being to busy helping defending themselves against the Sith and showing their support for the GA,.

Also, here is the summary for VECTOR 12, STORMS.

****POSSIBLE LEGACY VECTOR 11/12 SPOILERS****

After their climactic battle against Darth Krayt, Cade and his crew are hurtling through a lightning storm with mortally wounded Imperial Knight Azlyn Rae and Jedi Knight Shado Vao. They hope to reach the planet Kiffer, where Bantha Rawk might help with Cade's seemingly impossible plan to save Azlyn. The Sith, too, are handling the aftermath of the battle on Had Abbadon. Some will awaken to find the battle did not end as they believed . . .

Has anybody been reading the latest Legacy issues, by the way??

*****POSSIBLE LEGACY VECTOR 11/12 SPOILERS*****

At the end of Vector 11 and the huge battle royal on Had Abbadon, it seems as if the end is near. With the cover/summary for Vector 12 Storms out (an image of Darth Stryfe looking possessed by the Muur Talisman) it seems that either Krayt is dead or has been healed of his 'affliction,' as he is not mentioned at all in the summary.

Also, the summary describes Cade as rushing to the Kiffex system to find Bantha Rawk to help him heal Azlyn Rae. This means that she is wounded so bad that Cade can't heal her with his healing powers, which is astonishing, or she has been afflicted by something else. Hard to say what...

*****END SPOILERS******

Thoughts??

I think Jan would draw a great Lowie think of Chak except with the Black Stripe and Lightsaber... Maybe he hasn't shown up because he would know the entire family, and what has happened to Allana's line. The whole reason they didn't go to Hapes yet...
