How would that description, though, match Sansweet referring to it as an answer to when we'd see the adventures of the Classic Trilogy characters post-ROTJ? Doesn't sound like a main cast type of show.

Were I to hazard a guess, I'd say the post-ROTJ and Seth Green shows are the same. Post-ROTJ would be a good era, at least from a casual fan point of view, for the look at "everyday life" they mentioned the Robot Chicken show would be about.

At C2E2, Steve Sansweet has apparently just announced that a post-ROTJ animated series, featuring the Classic Trilogy characters, is in development.

Alongside TCW and the other series just announced with the Robot Chicken guys, plus the "Squishies" series (based on the Galactic Heroes toy line) that was being bandied about (unless that was the Robot Chicken one somehow), that would make four (or three) animated series for current-gen Star Wars.

Now that Sansweet has mentioned it publicly, any thoughts from VIPs (Sue, etc.) about this new series Sansweet apparently just announced? Given that we now have many, many decades of post-ROTJ stories already out there, is this another series that will wreak havoc on existing continuity, as TCW has, or is this something that will be approached differently?

Or, is there a chance that Sansweet's comments are being misinterpreted.

His quote, when a fan asked him about seeing the adventures of Han and Luke after ROTJ was: ?You will in the upcoming animated show.?

Could he be referring to the comedic program?

Savior cover is quite nice. But why is the Zizkov Television Tower on it (even with those ugly climbing babies)? :^O
I'm from Czech republic by the way.

This is an open question because I'm not sure if it falls into Sue's remit.

Anyway, with the recent announcement of the Bounty Hunter: Boba Fett children's book from Grosset & Dunlap, I was wondering if anyone can answer a query I have.
According to Penguin's Summer 2010 Catalog, this book was to have been the "first illustrated chapter book in an ongoing series" where "the origins of some of The Clone Wars best-known villains are revealed". Given that Attack of the Clones has already revealed Boba's origins, can we then expect further books and will they too reveal the origins of "The Clone Wars best-known villains" or is this synopsis now redundant? (ie only one title to be published and no series of books).

Ben Skywalker in Backlash, as well as Fury, are based on any actors?

No, none of our character illustrations are based on actors (well, except the classic characters--they're based on how they looked in the films). If we need a human to help flesh out a likeness or a pose, the art director at Del Rey will show me a group of professional models and I pick a few, then the director hires the one who is available. All the legal releases, etc, are signed....

Morning Sue,
Sorry to bother you over something trivial, but I don't suppose you know if the wonderfully drawn cover art depicting Ben Skywalker in Backlash, as well as Fury, are based on any actors? I don't know if it's just me, but the Fury Ben looks a bit like that ice boy in X-Men.
Enjoying Backlash very much at the moment! My thanks.

Hope you're feeling better - I swear by a hot toddy - but you've gotta use a good single malt to get the full effect of the toddy :)

Yep I know that online might be the best bet for me. But the problem is that I'm French, so if I buy on amazon.com for example, I'll pay more than the book itself in taxes lol
And on amazon.fr, I've noticed that sometimes people were selling the paperback version on the hardcover page.

Yeah, as Mason said, Star Wars Action News is a good one for that, and they do have forums. I actually am a contributor to their main show, book club podcast, and TCW review podcast.

I'd post a link to the Collecting forum where questions like this normally go, but I see you've already posted a thread there about this. Can see why you'd want to post it here. The Collecting forum is nearly a ghost town.
