Only locked folks get friend 'requests.' But you can block him from following you, though it's kind of pointless if you're public.

you might receive a follower request from the gent ("leesweinberg")
I think I shall have to deny that, if such a situation arises. And I would've put "gent" in quotes, personally.

Just an FYI to the other VIPs and any mods. If you happen to use Twitter (I know Broox does and a few others), you might receive a follower request from the gent ("leesweinberg") who was recently banned from here for various reasons (the "blowhole" incident, creating a "sock," etc.).
Just a heads-up, for what it's worth.

Thanks, Sue. You are the best. No wonder you get so many acknowledgments in SW books.

RIPTIDE takes place right after CROSSCURRENT.
San Diego: No Fate of the Jedi panel. Other events: There should be something on the main sw site; a link or something... I haven't looked recently. Oh, I won't be going this year.....

Sue,
Do you know what Lucas Film/Books is planning in terms of a presence at Comi-con in San Diego this July?
Is there going to be a Fate of the Jedi Panel?

*Paperback.

Thanks.
Do you know if its going to be along the same lines as Crosscurrent? By that I mean portions of the book being 1000's of years apart? Or is it purely set directly after Crosscurrent?

Riptide eh? I really hope this will involve the search for the mad clones.
Definitely one to look forward to. Is this a paperback or hardback?

Nathan,
I will echo other peoples sentiments and say well done on the interview. Two questions I would have approached where.
1) What was going on in here mind writing the fight scenes and space battle scene, it seemed like these were awful truncated. With some important action taking part of screen.
2) We have two Bothans featured in the novel who are specifically mentioned as wearing gloves. Is it possible Tahiri's Lawyer and the Bothan Freedom Flight member are the same being? Seemed like a curious description to include for both characters.

Listened to your interview, Nathan. From the posing of your question it was clear you don't fully understand the concerns men and women have raised about the portrayal of female characters in Allies. It's also clear from her reply that the author doesn't understand the issues readers have with it either. FWIW, most people aren't contending there is a "push" as you say.
I understand the issue from both sides thoroughly. The question was worded as such to open the door for whatever thoughts on the issue, from either perspective, she might choose to share.

Sue, while we (or at least some of us) are patiently waiting for it's front cover, has there been any talk about who will show up on the back cover of Conviction?

We brought this issue directly to her, and, for her part, she did not seem to have any dog in the race, so to speak, regarding a push of feminism or sexism

Blocking a lightsaber thrust with a bare palm = so awesome.
Blocking a fist concealing a thermal detonator about to detonate = even more awesome.
