We would love to see more Star Wars fans get into this game and show LA that a 6 year old game is still worth Expanding.

I got really heavy into SWG for a short time then I just stopped and for really no reason. I'm re-downloading it as we speak and am looking forward to getting back in the groove.

The game isnt as bad as it was in 2006, but it's still nothing like it used to be.

SOE shouldnt be advertising it. Those of us who are addicted to it are too far gone to be saved. Those who aren't giving their money to one of the most apathetic companies on the planet should remain that way.

SOE ignores bugs, keeps things imbalanced, and hardly listens to the players. Amongst the few good things they have done, they've followed them up with a plethora of stupid mistakes and apathetic decisions. So much is "left alone".

The games quests and story text is all plagued with AWFUL grammatical mistakes and errors, heck, even NPC chatter contains blatantly misspelled words. It's not that great a game, however it's got a lot of nice people playing it, and it's the only Star Wars game that let's you craft E11 Mark 2 blasters, play a Nalargon, fight rabid Dewbacks, and blow up TIE Fighters all in one afternoon.

The FREE Galaxy transfer for players is coming up to combine galaxies so that there's more people and less spread out! I think I might start it up again. I loved this game for the community but since everyone left, it's no fun. If galaxies are combined then there will be more people together to interact with.

Recently, multiple game sites have listed the best MMORPGs to play with Star Wars Galaxies at number 2 and World of Warcraft at number 1. I recommend playing this game.

Also I think they should create another expansion for the game with all the old players coming back and thousands or new players.

The only way another player can kill you is if you go SF, and you have to be faction aligned to do it. What it is, the players that were started at launch don't like the fact that they made jedi a starter profession. Used to be you had to do what is called a holo grind to unlock it. So a lot of them are upset that the newer players picked the Jedi profession for their characters. Play whatever profession you want. You pay for the game, play it how you want.

I read in a game site that don't buy this to play a jedi because you die right away from other players. True?

I'm looking forward to using the voice feature and playing Chapter 10. SWG is going in the right direction.

Does the 14-day trial that is out let you go to all planets and pretty much play like any other person for 14 days? Or is it like the 10-day trial account I once downloaded about a year ago where you had to stay within a space station and could never leave.

I'm trying to download the free 14 day trial, but every time I go to download it, it says, "Some installation files are corrupt" and that I need to download it again. I do, but it always says the same thing. What could the problem be?
