yes you most certainly will! READ THE TRILOGY, DARTH IMPERIUM! lol... seriouisly though.

i just finished Han Solo and the Lost Legacy. it was... as expected... AWESOME.

i thought those ancient war robots were really cool too. and i was a little disappointed at the end when Bollux and Blue Max agreed to stay with Skynx and not Han and Chewie.

and isnt Skynx the same guy whos running the Kessel mines in the Jedi Academy trilogy?

One of my buddies told me that the Han Solo Adventures weren't any good, after going through this thread I think I am going to have to pick em up.

Yeah, he does, but it doesn't actualy have that IN
it. It's only after he has done it, and he can't get
rid of Chewie. So techniqly no it it doesn't have
the SCENE Han frees Chewie. :(

That's what I'd like to read about. It's like the
Borramir death scene in Lord of the Rings. Awesome
seening it on the big screen, but...what's this? It's
not IN the book? only as a after-mention. You get
what the author sends across, but miss the full
story.
tbc.

are you kidding? the first chapter of The Two Towers is called "the departure of boromir". the entire focus of that chapter is his death. It sucks (for lotr geeks) that peter jackson moved it to the fellowship of the rings, instead of it's rightful place in the two towers.

  • Great minds think alike!!!!*

lol got that right!

so i just finished Han Solo's Revenge. and it was AWESOME too!!! the characters were great and so was the plot.

the one thing ive noticed with these books, though, is that the back cover thing doesnt really do them justice. it gives sorta the wrong storyline. its not like its completely off, but it puts a different spin on it than what actually happens in the book.

I really enjoyed these books they are great fun and I loved how Crispin decades later tied her Han Solo trilogy in with them.

i like the old school books. theyre like a step back from all the dark new stuff (not that the dark stuff isnt good. lol). and theyre still pretty much garunteed to be an AWESOME read. though i think Splinter Of The Mind's Eye might be a little TOO old school. i read the first 2 chapters and decided to read Survivor's Quest instead. haha eventually ill get back to it.. most likely after True Colors.

but At Star's End was pretty good. i was a lot like the Han Solo trilogy which i enjoyed A LOT. so far Han's Revenge is pretty good too, i should finish it pretty soon. and i five if you say Lost Legacy is good then ill have to take your word for it. lol so far we seemed to have liked pretty much the same stuff. so why should this be any different?

I didn't like them much....too old school for me. the only one i really liked was Lost Legacy. It was also cool how Glaaendro was there...and how later was was mixed into the Han Solo Trilogy & into the YJK (at least Anja!)!

  • Reading the Trilogy of Han made me love him even more. Next I'll have to get the adventures of Lando Calrissian.*

These authors really had a lock on the characters. Just bear in mind that the Lando adventures actually precede the Han adventures, so the only common thread is the+ Millenium Falcon. +

I really liked reading the old Lando and Han books, as well as SOTME. It was fascinating to see these seemingly unrelated characters get their stories tied together. I wish there were more of these sorts of adventures out there. I don't mind the galaxy-changing stuff, but every once in a while I get nostalgic for the "good old days" of Star Wars, where they really were "from the Adventures of Luke Skywalker" (and friends). I could use more classic-era novels.

I've now finished the final book in the adventures trilogy and was a little disappointed with this one. I really liked Bollux and Max, but other than that it just seemed sort of forced - I actually struggled to get the motivation to finish it.

Once again Han was written very well, but the book was a bit of a disappointment after the previous one (especially with Chewie reverting to being more in the background after having such a prominent role in the middle book).

Now I have to decide whether to read the Lando Adventures or the Han Solo (Crispin) trilogy next ...
