Comparing this "Saxton" to a giant that is George Lucas is a blasphemy. GL has always right becouse he is the one that created SW and others aren't important at all.

*The problem is Saxton is viewing Star Wars as science fiction, when George Lucas himself has always declared it as a space fantasy, a fairy tale devoid of any scientific meaning beyond the fact it has (to us) futuristic vehicles and objects.
And Endor surviving intact has more to do with Lucas' definition than Saxton's.
However, L.F.L. are prone to calling Star Wars Sicence Fiction, but loosely keeping ties with Lucas' original intention of the world he created. And that goes for all the books produced for the E.U. too. Hardly any fantasy writers and too many sci-fi writers turn S.W. into sci-fi, thus removing it from its original position.*
Star Wars is a perfect blend of Science Fiction and Space Opera, and Saxton is the true savior of this aspect of Star Wars. The savior of the space opera side is G.L. himself. So, both are right.

because, In that instance, LFL doesn't agree with Saxton, and the book provided an explanation as to why Endor is as happy and healthy as ever.

I find every other mention of a previous event in the book perfect, thus far, so I'm not really complaining, but I wonder if there's a person working for LucasLicensing to take care of such references so that they don't turn into mistakes? If there is such a person, who is it? Is it you?
Also, which one should we consider correct? The Stark Hyperspace Conflict mention, or the 5.000 years one (my guess would be it's the second, since there must have been doctors before 44 B.S.W.4 ;))?
And, fortunatelly, this mistake is easy to correct. Since it was Jos thinking at that particular moment, it's just that he confused the Stark Hyperspace Conflict that occured during 44 B.S.W.4 with the Sith Hyperspace Conflict that occured during 5.000 B.S.W.4.

Sremmuy, I am currently reading Medstar I: Battle Surgeons, and I find it simply excellent. The different view of the Clone Wars, from ordinary people that fight like heroes in their own way, their view of the Force, and many other things, are so masterfully explored in the book that, even though there is no action, makes the book so intoxicating... Anyway, I didn't really post here to praise the book. To the point: In Chapter Six, page 53, there is a paragraph mentioning the Stark Hyperspace conflict, but sets it 4.960-something years before it actually happened! Here:
'Good', Jos thought. He remembered a quote from Bahm Gilyad, who had formalized the rules and responsibilities of their profession five thousand years before, during the Star Hyperspace Conflict (:O ?:|): "The sick and the injured... blah, blah, blah...

I *have a few questions again (and my thanks, as
always, to Sue and Shelly, or to any other VIPs who
read this but who haven't answered a question in
months .)
-First, if the contract with Schoolastic is ending in
2005, will the Episode 3 junior novelization be the
final (new) release from them?*>
No.
-*Second, has a storyline been decided for the 9-book
series, or is it still in discussion? (if not, do let
us know when!)*>
No, not until later this year. Probably November.
-*Finally, does all the fan squabbling and nit-picking
ever get to you roo?*
Sometimes.

Though I support Saxton's numbers, I don't consider myself a Saxtonite, and the I.T.W. book offers an explanation to the fact that the "Endor Holocaust" was averted by the remnants of the Rebel Fleet, rest assured Suzanne, the Ewoks are living happily on Endor.
That's right, it is explained.
And I don't think you have to be a 'Saxtonite' to support Saxton's numbers. All of you who disapprove of him, just go over to his website, you'll understand why I (and many others) support him.

*but does this mean
that there won't be an "Inside the Worlds of Revenge
of the Sith"?*
It isn't being planned for, but that doesn't necessarily mean that it won't happen in the future. We don't like to completely flood the market at movie time.... so doing that title may come up in the more distant future.
*On a more general note, I'd like to congratulate (and
thank) all you VIPs on a job well done. :-)*
Ahhhh.....

*It seems clear to you and to me (and to many others) ... but it would be nice to get that reassurance from a purple person (especially Tasty Taste, if he will) as the Saxtonites are arguing that Pablo has effectively gone beyond the correct view in light of the ITW entry.

I agree about the outdated/incorrect, but that is supposed to be Mara's arica diguise in Jabba's Palace.
Though putting a picutre of her in disguise, is a tad confusing....

So the picture isn't intended to be Mara after all? Or is this Mara in disguise? It is Mara in disguise, silly Why else would they have a picture of her there?

Maybe the lack of an answer IS the answer?
Perhaps it is, but it is just not polite. They could answer that they don't want to help, but, ignore me? Anyway... I will continue my attempts in the other thread.
Maybe the age old answer of "b/c GL said so" should be enough.
Not for me.
You are arguing over what another man had in mind when HE made this stuff up!!! Anyone who spends countless hours trying to place physical boundaries on a land of make believe needs to see a shrink!!!!!
Alright... It's over in THIS thread. I'm going to continue in 'Coruscant and the EU'. Buye-buye!

on another note, where did the new picture on
[url=http://www.starwars.com/databank/character/maraja
deskywalker/eu.html]Mara's databank entry[/url] come
from?
I had always heard the rumor that a chick in red was
supposed to have been mara in that scene, not a
dancer in blue...
That picture came from Decipher's SW Customizable Card Game; it's another picture of Shannon McRandle, this time dressed in her Arica character.
And it was taken especially for the card game; she never actually appears in the films.

You can. Allow me to keep the conversation in this thread, so that a VIP might notice my arguments.
