If they have the Cartoon Network cable channel, yeah they'll be able to watch in Canada.

But you have Hyperspace, so it's no problem for you.

Some of the people on the boards I post on have been asking whether the Clone Wars animation will be shown in Canada. Does anyone have the answer - and what station? Ta.

The VIPs don't have to answer your questions, so stop acting like it's their responsibility to answer EVERY question you have. Some questions they can answer, others they can't for WHATEVER reason. Don't push** it. You're LUCKY they're even here to answer things.

Yes Pabs :p I know that. Its just annoying at the VIPs ignore a question which has been on our lips for about week or two. You can't deny that we'd think its suspicious.

Another humble suggestion for the VIPs:
Generally in SW books time is passed in a lot of years from book to book, which is essentially what makes everyone thing one character is getting too old and so on.
Why not be more conservative on the years issue? Like right now Luke is 47 and Mara is 45. Instead of making the time period in the next book 5 or 7 years later, why nor make it 1 or 2 years later? After all technology and spacetravel is too advanced in the SW universe, and missions don't take up very long times like years, or even months. It could even be made as weeks. It would solve the ageing issue in my opinion. Thank you.

It is troublesome because Luke is the center of Starwars, and even though others are given more importance in certain books, Jedi get more powerul as they grow, not weak. It is more troublesome as they already tried to kill Luke but thankfully Lucas prevented, that. That's why it's my humble request not to tone down Luke to push new characters, and I know that GL wholeheartedly agrees with me as well. Giving other characters importance is not a bad thing, but it becomes a bad thing when it is done by pushing Luke back and toning him down. I humbly await the answer.

but what troubles me is the decision of the VIPs to tone down the main character Luke and the Jedi in general, to push a handful of new characters into the scene.

Why should this be troublesome? Luke and Leia at least 47 by the time of The Unifying Force, and Han is around 54. It's called the passage of time and a change in generations. If it's troubling that new characters are taking the fore in the NJO, which is 21 years after ROTJ, why is no one decrying the absense of many of the Prequel era characters in the Classic era stories? It's two decades, and these weren't exactly newborns when they started in the Classic era.

The question is how and why they made it so, which questions the sensing ability of the Jedi from the beginning to the wisdom of Yoda to Luke to the whole concept of Jedi's senses, which all implies either a mistake or a well planned conspiracy to make the Jedi (especially Luke) seem weak and push some characters, which the entire Vong phenomenon succeeded in doing. The question is if it was formed by the loophole in Obi's words, or made from scratch which clearly contradicts Gl's idea of Jedi and the force, and helped in making the Jedi seem weak, especially Luke. The whole idea was good in a way, but what troubles me is the decision of the VIPs to tone down the main character Luke and the Jedi in general, to push a handful of new characters into the scene.
I have a humble request to the VIPs. I don't know if I'll be heard at all, but please don't tone down Luke. From the way the books are done he is being toned down severely. Please prevent that from happening in the future.

1. I take it that the new CW calendar with 12-month dates converted to a 10-month calendar means that all of my converting for the SWT-G hasn't been in vain? JTS, can you do any comparisons?

2. On the whole Vong and the Force thing, hasn't it now been pretty much established that it's not that the Vong don't exist in the Force, it's that they are on a different wavelength, so to speak, like the frequency of a dog whistle, and normal Jedi can't SENSE them, but they're there, hence being able to feel them through, among other things, Jacen's Vongsense and Anakin's altered lightsaber?

To add some more to that, reading the latest Insider, when it discusses the upcoming Clone Wars material, it mentions everything up to Jedi Trial, except for Escape at Dagu. Not even a hint.

You're probably gone by now, but I thought I'd say it anyway:

Howdy,
I'm going on vacation for a couple of weeks... will check in again when I return, although I probably won't go back too many pages to see what I've missed. Save any questions you want to direct to me in particular until after November 10th or so (It'll take me a few days to get caught up with my work before I can check in here...)
FYI, I just finished reading the manuscript for MedStar I: Battle Surgeons. A great read. Refreshing. More later....

And with that, I reiterate: PLEASE keep discussion topics in other threads. The VIPs would be happy, I'm sure, to journey to an already established discussion thread to give their voice to a subject; all you have to do is link to the discussion.

But PLEASE keep discussion out of THIS thread.

Hehe :) somehow I am not satisfied. Indeed it is the mystery about the Vong, and TUF is supposed to explain that. I am making sure that that is not another made up phenomenon called Vongsense and so on. The question is, was the manipulation about the force inorder to create the Vong villains a mistake, or a clearly thought idea? Clearly Obi Wan has used the singular term as if there is only one galaxy, and how could one conclude from his statements that there is only one galaxy, and that the force binds together "the" galaxy? If indeed the loophole in Obi's words are the base of the creation of Villains who make the Jedi seem weak, then that base itself is at fault due to another loophole in Obi's words. I could clearly get along with the Vong and the books, but why I am so troubled is because they were designed by the VIPs to make the Jedi - especially Luke, look weak. They succeeded in that. That's why I am looking for a satisfying explanation, especially about Obi's loophole.

The Force does not exist in the Milky Way, ;). The Force does not bind our galaxy together, scientists would explain what actually binds our particular galaxy together, :). So the force doesn't have to exist in every galaxy. Just like it doesn't exist in our galaxy, it doesn't exist in the Vong galaxy as well, :).
