You're right there. Single author. Trilogy. Star Wars. Hummm. What else can I say....? Oh, I'm waiting on the legal for the cover artist too, so I'll be able to add that to the mix shortly.

Thanks again.
The author has agreed
So at least you've revealed that it will be written by a single author, rather than a duo. Now we have something to go on, anyways.

- that the author and era were already worked out*
The author has agreed, but the legal takes time and I can't release the name until I get confirmation that the contract has been signed. The era has been discussed, but since Shelly, the author, and I haven't talked yet, it's not nailed down. Again, I just don't want to put something out there and then have to retract it.

The answer to that should be fairly obvious.

about 3 pages back I asked if Centerpoint is broken or if it's in a stand-by mode waiting for Anakin to come back.
No one knows. And perhaps never will, since it's keyed to Anakin.

1) ICS means Incredible Cross-Sections.
2) * One last question: when can we expect to see information on the 2005 paperback trilogy?
Yeah, definitely before fall. As soon as the author is signed and we have agreed on an era.*
Thanks. Your earlier comments somehow gave me the impression that the author and era were already worked out and you just were keeping it a secret. But I guess I was reading too much into it.

it's part of an argument. I think C-point was going to be "taken out" of the story no matter what and that right now it's basically just a metal moon, and is unrepairable at this time. A non-commital answer about it just tells me that it really isn't very important to the story, which IS my exact theory...

Would you take a lack of a comment as an answer D'ganin? VIPs enjoy the aura of musticism that surrounds their criptic anwers...

*TUF and TFP manuscripts have both come in.... yeah, they're good. Very good. Jim and Greg are doing an excellent job --- that's all I can say. *
Nice!
Thanks so much!

hello,
first off Sue, I would like to thank you for taking the time to look at our q's.
secondly, about 3 pages back I asked if Centerpoint is broken or if it's in a stand-by mode waiting for Anakin to come back. As I stated then, if this question doesn't have an answer, I'm okay with a "no comment" for an answer.
again,
thank you

Is this a breakdown in communication or what?
It might be. Or might be an "or what." I'm checking into it.

I accidently deleted him. When I paste a message, the spacing is all goofy and I have to do a lot of deleting to get it in line. I noticed I deleted Raynar, then just let it go. No hidden meaning, I assure you. If you believe me.

Did anyone else notice that in the original question Raynar was included in this list? That coupled with Sue's response about perhaps seeing Raynar...hmm...
- Regarding the last 3 NJO books: I know that Tahiri will have an important role, but will we also be seeing more of the young Jedi, like Zekk, Tenel Ka, Sannah, Lowbacca, and ahem Valin Horn?
Nope. In a wrapping up a long series, one has to give the main characters the most page space.*

1) Thanks for the responses, Sremmuy.
The "plan to have" questioning is really difficult to answer. We really aren't going to tell you a lot about future plans because they do change. If I mentioned that a certain character was going to be somewhere, then it ended up that the book or comic or whatever worked better without the character, then you'd be disappointed. Or if you knew a character wasn't going to be in a particular book... more disappointment. I hate to disappoint. On the whole, I think it's better to avoid these kinds of specific questions.
Noted.
2) One last question: when can we expect to see information on the 2005 paperback trilogy? I know you said you won't tell us anything about this until it's posted on SW.com, so I'm not expecting you to say anything now, but I was just wondering roughly when this might be. Later in the summer?

This was posted by Vic Wertz on the TF.N boards 2 weeks ago:
*>Does anyone know if these short stories Zahn is writing for Insider will be published into a book?<
While we don't have any plans right now, we have talked about the possibility of collecting the fiction from Gamer and Insider at some point in the future, and it's something we will consider pursuing when there's a good volume of text built up.
-Vic. *
Is this a breakdown in communication or what?
