You won't hear any teasers until the titles are announced (hopefully in March).
it is march.
I know, I know!!! We're having trouble coming up with a title for the second book of the duology..... as soon as that's locked in there will be something on sw.com.

This is only my second post. If I'm doing anything wrong, please let me know. I was wondering what the untitled duology between the cestus deception and jedi trial is about. Thanks.

Thanks for the response, Scremmuy! I cannot wait for the Clone Wars Sourcebook!!! Now if only Wizards started to put out some Clone Wars content on their weekly web-publications in the meantime, my year will be made!!! (Well almost: it would be if I only managed to convince my wife to name our second child Padmé!!)

Just wondering, is a Clone Wars Sourcebook in the pipeline? And how about after the New Jedi Order wraps up, giving us a month-calendar regarding the events in the books (maybe to be included in a second New Jedi Order Sourcebook which I have seen mentioned somewhere)
There's a Clone Wars Sourcebook scheduled for November 2004 (but the schedule is not fixed). The updated NJO sourcebook is scheduled for June 2004 -- your calendar idea is a good one!

Will Dooku be present in any of the books?
He's been included in some of the outlines, but I don't know yet how large a part he'll be playing. He's the commander of the armies so he won't be on the front lines, he'll be directing things from backstage, so to speak.

*Just a minor question about The Cestus Deception and Jedi Trial. I noticed that in TCD Obi-Wan is featured (along with Kit Fisto), and that in JT Anakin is featured. Does this mean that, although the books mentioned are some time apart in the timeline of the Clone War, Obi-Wan and Anakin are separated
during the war? Or will, for example, Anakin be more or less a background character in TCD while Obi-Wan is prominently featured?*
Obi and Anakin are separated somewhat during the war, depending on assignments -- sometimes they're together, sometimes they're not. You'll find that many of the Padawans are out on their own (Barriss Offee and others). There just aren't enough Jedi to go around if the Padawans and Masters stay together. Anakin isn't in TCD -- he's off doing something else.

Vergere: Jim Luceno created her and came up with her species and "look" and her name. We asked Greg to include a reference to her in Rogue Planet so that we could introduce her again later. She is a very important character and a window into the Old Republic for these "new" Jedi.
Hope that helps.

where did luceno say that he named vergere? also i dont think it matters that he put her in Cloak of deception. her first published appearance was in "Rogue Planet" since that book was not written by luceno, i want to know if greg bear or luceno established hernphysical description and background.
Luceno also put Jorrus C'Boath in "cloak of deception" doesnt mean that he originated that charachter

Luceno had to have made Vergere, after all, he named her that after the french word for "Garden".
He also put her in Cloak of Deception.

To the best of my knowledge, James Luceno created Vergere. He gave Greg Bear permission to use her in Rogue Planet (since it was setting off the NJO, I assume). She wasn't fleshed out as a character until Agents of Chaos anyway. All Rogue Planet gave was a basic pre-history.
